Good effort. The conversation was allocation of budget. I was making a point about where our playing budget tends to go. I remember a kid on loan, who wouldn’t have cost the earth. He played really well for 3 months, then got injured. He didn’t have a pedigree, and it certainly wasn’t seen as a coup at the time of signing for us. But if you wanna play with yourself over the mighty Surridge, then crack on son.
