  1. It was doubtful for a period of time, so speculation about it and the club are only to be expected on a football forum.
  2. Yep. It’s the point I always make about it being a community club, as in everyone in it together. Or at least feeling connected to the club, having some hope that we are well run. These are important factors for a lot people. I would wager that if we went down, but got AL out- season tickets would increase. Conversely, if we went up under AL I don’t think season tickets wouldn’t dramatically increase.
  3. Spot on. Hence why there was no real analysis/reaction to yesterday loss. All feels a bit pointless.
  4. Are we shocked? Really? Wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Just another day at the fun factory.
  5. Sounds familiar. . . Morning Abdallah Get out. Right. *Disclaimer- I reserve the right to make a joke, without accusation from the #noALagenda lads.*
  6. Fair enough. I take your points about contractual issues, and Coke was nowhere near the side last year so I can see why they would push him out. O’grady’s situation still seems odd to me. Top pro, made a lot of appearances and always gives his best. Was offered an option on the original deal, and it was triggered. Now he’s not allowed near the first team.
  7. Good effort. You have repeatedly claimed picking the team had stopped. At the minute O’grady and Coke have been told to train with the youths. Meaning there are not available for team selection now . . Directly affecting team selection now. So if Banny wants to pick O’grady - he can’t. So unless o’grady has turned into a bellend overnight and spat in banny’s face, then interfering in team selection hasn’t stopped at all. I think you know this really.
  8. You’ve still not answered my question. . Its months now since Wild left and gave THAT interview that team interference had stopped. So, whose decision is to tell O’grady and Coke to train with the youths?
  9. How nice to be pleasantly surprised by a signing. Forgot what it felt like. If we could make one experienced signing in centre mid, then the spine of wood Wheater midfielder Wilson doesn’t look that bad.
  10. I’m really starting to think that AL would have us playing evo stick at stalybridge than contemplate working with anyone. Let alone the FLG.
  11. Spot on. According to BB80 though he stopped interfering after Scholes left.
  12. Bloody hell. . I never knew that. I always liked ours because there was nothing like it. .
  13. We’re going the same way as Orient did. Things are are going to get a lot worse than this before we bottom out.
  14. Nothing beats the bovis Green. My favourite kit home or away ever.
  15. Those days are long gone. . . I was tucking into my second bottle of red though, and feeling positive. It never lasts. AL OUT. .
  16. So much has happened to our club, and I think our darkest days are still ahead of us. BUT. The club isn’t AL or the FLG it isn’t #frenchlads or flat cap Mo. It’s not the the OEC or Blitz. It’s simply us. The club is the town and community. I don’t know when things will turn, but they will. An when we’re on away day with something to sing our hearts with, it’s these times that will remember because they’ll make it twice as sweet. Our time will come. We’ll be reet. (Eventually)
  17. Mo wearing a flat cap- proves he’s a adopted northerner. Sacking Wellens. And. . Er. .
  18. Spot on Kow. He may well have put a good amount in. However, why wouldn’t you scream from the rooftops what you’ve put in. . It might not all be rosy, but at very least it shows you put your money your mouth is.
