oafc0000
Big Sam, Billy Davies, Glen Hoddle OR, possibly, Laurie Sanchez!! Depends on wages and whether the likes of Sam would drop down that far. There is a long list. Big Sam = no chance Glen Hoddle = no chance Laurie Sanchez = no chance Billy Davies = doubtful In my opinion of course
danoafc
Big Sam = no chance Glen Hoddle = no chance Laurie Sanchez = no chance Billy Davies = doubtful In my opinion of course I'd have thought - should he go (which I don't think he will, neither do I want him to) that Mike Newell might be a more realistic bet. Butter
JESUS, Ross! Next thing we'll be talking about Carlton 'wingnut' Palmer! Palmer is the only guy I can think of that is worse than the thought of Lawrie Sanchez becoming manager here!!
beag_teeets
Sanchez would fit in with our moaners, actually, he would make some of us look positively positive.
Butter
Sanchez would fit in with our moaners, actually, he would make some of us look positively positive. Exactly, id rather a member of Dirty Sanchez become manager.
danoafc
Exactly, id rather a member of Dirty Sanchez become manager. Now THAT would be amusing. Not very good, but F***** funny all the same!
Horlicks
If he went I would go for Steve Cotterill

JKblues
On Sky now they've suggested Paul Ince and Andy Ritchie so far as Leeds replacements...
bigfatjoe1
Sanchez, Big Sam et al....sorry, i was talking about Leeds not us. Should've made myself clear.
oafc0000
I think Andy Ritchie would be a good shout....
JKblues
A latics legend in charge of Leeds - now that would be a strange situation!!
bigfatjoe1
I think Andy Ritchie would be a good shout.... Managers FOR US might include Ritchie, but I doubt it somehow. i don't think Royle would return, but i wouldn't mind if he did. What about Philiskirk? Or (now I will get shouted at) that nice Paul Ince???
Guest sheridans_world
Stich did play 136 games scoring 40 goals for Leeds... He was also incharge of youth development there for a while...
spadam
So he literally could walk over broken glass to get to Elland Road. The biggest problem with Shez leaving would be finding a replacement acceptable to the Latics fans. We don't like outsiders in these 'ere parts and like the Geordies, we demand attractive free flowing football and success*. *unless of course the Manager is a Latics Legend. spot on! I do not think shez will leave we need sustainability keep with the same manager he is still young and learning
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
Big fat Joe fancies one last go at manager allegedly? Could see him at Leeds sadly. Let them get Shez and we'll take Joe!
edhunteruk
Let them get Shez and we'll take Joe! one half of me would be sad to see him go.but then the other half wouldnt be that bothered if he did. good luck to him if he gets offered it. who would replace him though.philiskirk is a good coach at youth level, and i doubt for one moment that duxbury and wright would work. would ritchie want to come back after the way he left, and he is in the fa cup for a few more weeks yet. would only want big joe back in an advisory capacity, helping someone out. kevin blackwell.....was doing ok until luton went into administration. tactically_naive
we demand attractive free flowing football and success Any fecking football would be an improvement at the moment. As for success...........yer 'avin a giraffe. Edited January 28, 2008 by tactically_naive
dfOAFC
If he went I would go for Steve Cotterill thank god it won't be up to you then
philliggi
kevin blackwell.....was doing ok until luton went into administration. If Lutons style of play is anything to go by when they played us up here, when they cheated, and assaulted there way through ninety minutes, he can stay in oblivion for me. unles of course the yorkshire shower want him back
