Stevie_J
i am sure it will go off in dale tonight but i hope its still raining so that our fans get home safely Are you suggesting that any likely hooligan behaviour would be rained off, Bob? If the rain's stopped, maybe bad light'll see them home all right.

Rocky_Latic
Dale youth walked past the Litten Tree at about half 5. They had about ten older lads tucked in the corner by the door about an hour before that - who left once it got a little busy (of Latics). The dale youth took one look at how many 'tics were in and shot off up the road down the backstreets. So much for black eye's all round. The Latics lot were getting escorted by the Potato factory when I went past after the game. Funniest was the dale lad with his kid in the WMG. What a role model for his kid he must be, trying to kick off whilst clutching his daughter in his arms. Pr*ck! Blue-Mist
went for a few beers in the dale bar at the ground - (very few 'tics btw ! )- chattin to a few dale fans i know who were in town early doors and they said that they were seriously intimidated by latics fans that they fired off to spotland early doors. I asked them about the rochdale 'yoof' - 1 guy told me that they had asked him to join them and were plotted up in the backstreets but when they say the massed ranks of Latics fans they quickly melted away !. Piss poor home crowd and simply because of our support we deserved the result ! onwards and upwards but hope nerxt time we actually threaten to score a bit more - after all thats what it all about innit ?? You'll be pleased to know we were frogmarched all round Rochdale, roads were shut everywhere to 'catch the last train' which somehow the GMP deliberately made us miss, we then had to stand around on Drake St for about half hour whilst the OB arranged taxis and a 409. Unbelievably bad policing, if it wanted to 'go off' it could of done. FARCE

Unbelievably bad policing, if it wanted to 'go off' it could of done. FARCE We were just ahead of you lot, having gone into town in the vain hope of getting a last beer. We made sure we kept a suitable distance so Dibble didn't associate us with such riff-raff, hence we got into a taxi and went home no problems I was wondering why they were marching you to the train station when a) there was most likely not going to be a train by the time you got there and b ) the train is a really crap way to get to where the majority probably live. From where they were positioning the vans along the way it looked like they were afraid it was going to go off in the takeaways down the bottom of Drake Street. I did wonder if your group had had a run up with the Daley Massif as you got so much attention, but I guess you were the only big group in the town centre so it gave them something to do. leeslover
what does that mean? Me? Just that I was told by a few people last night that apparently Millwall, "ran," as I believe it's called, their Oldham counterparts after the match? Wasn't there myself, only what I heard. It was embarrassing to be seen to be following the same team as them.

A few links from them singing this in a pub in Crewe and glory talk of the FYC as been posted by young fans on here who actually look up this these . The amount of 13-16 years old stone Island clones near me last night was crazy and you know what not many of them actually watched the game to busy giving the gestures to the Dale fans........... angusD
I have to say its rather pathetic people coming on here bragging about how they seen this set of fans of or that or fronted people up. Its a disgracful side of the game and these people aint true fans. If people want to go beat ten bells of dung out of each other then go do it where no one can see it and dont do it in the name of our football club, fighting has got nothing to do with the beutiful game. This is supposed to be the OFFICAL forum of our football club, how bad does it make our so called family club look when these half wits come on here posting the rubbish that they do? Come on guys lets stick to the football.

Yard Dog
End o' day boys will be boys and fight...especially at times when they're coming up against lads from other towns. Has happened for centuries, and will probably go on for centuries. Not saying it's right and it's certainly not nice, but just think some of us need to be more realistic.
