Knill on O'Grady

Recommended Posts

From tonights Bury Times...

Knill on Chris O'Grady: "We have not taken Chris on for another month, and finance dictated that really. It didn't work out for him here. Strikers are judged on goals and he didn't score, so that was disappointing for him and for us. We wish him all the best for the future."

In other words he didn't light any fires, nor has he here to date. Lets hope he improves.

This is utter manager drivel.... he admits that it was driven by finance, but then states it is because he didnt score to try and make it look like footballing reasons... plus the fact we bloody need him and it was only a months loan anyway...

He's probably trying to divert the attention to the fact that his own team has spectacularly imploded in the last month or so.

I was thinking just that. Make your mind up man... I think we need to face it that Hughesy is the only consistently goalscoring forward we have at the club though, hence Shez deciding we need a spare body in that area. Unless we can hold onto Byfield we should look to play to our strengths and aim to get the midfield scoring rather than hope that Lewis, COG or the other bloke is going to do it all for us.
