comeonublues!!
Well it all started off as a good night, players and fans in good spirit even won 30 quid but then unfortunately turned sour with an incident between a few of our players. I went up to where the players where sat to be pushed back because there was some disagreement happening! Sheridan, Gregen and Hughes all came out of the room escorted by the bouncers who worked there, then Chris Taylor comes out in tears followed by the other players looking shocked. Overheard a tale going on between a few of the players saying Sean Gregan had attacked Taylor for no apparent reason as they where all just having a laugh and a joke and that Sheridan and Lee Hughes both jumped in to protect him as Gregan had Taylor pinned up against the wall and had punched him!!! Taylor seemed very shaken up by the whole incident as he appeared in tears. I just wonder what is going to happen to Sean Gregan now because surely this is no behaviour of a captain he should be leading a good example. I dont know what it was all over but the players where just saying it was a laugh between them all and should have no means resorted in voilence!!! I can think of a few more players Gregan should have punched on various occasions over the past couple of seasons, all of them on the pitch. In all fairness, somebody should be assigned to occasionally punch Gregan. This board just gets better all the time.

millsy82
Well I hope its nothing. Though I've had a sneekey feeling for ages that the camp is split. If this rumour is true than I think we can kiss goodbye to the play-offs. A split dressing will not win games, they won't want to work for each other. Shez will be the one that suffers for it as will us fans. I wonder if Taylor had the same reaction as all Oldham fans to Windass and Windass' mate Gregan didn't like it? Anyway, if it is true my team for this Saturday would be as follows: Fleming Eardley Hines Stam Jones Ferreria Maher Allott Smalley Kabba Hughes Subs Budtz Liddell Lomax Whittaker Allesandra
garcon
Now why would someone who's never been on here before suddenly appear with a story like that?
opinions4u
Chris Taylor comes out in tears Reminded of the non-pen at Leicester?

Fergie
The powers that be should throw the book at our so called captain. If people cant handle their drink - I would seriously consider booting Gregan out the door after last night if its true.
johnny punkster
now if this is true(if..)then the "drinking culture" being banded at the club seems to be becoming more public with every opportunity.. that will be the 3rd drink related incident i can think of this season regarding latics-and thats the 2nd one concerning gregan. all stems from the management i'm afraid. if the management won't get involved with trying to introduce disipline,it won't happen. beag_teeets
Can't believe no one has posted about the club "going to the dogs" yet. Thick footballers doing what the thick fans did on Monday night shocker!
alwaysablue
Poor Taylor always seems to get punched.

Fittonhillbilly
I'm awaiting OldhamSheridans view, was Alan Hardy there? this needs reporting
Stitch_KTF
Maybe Greegs spilt his own pint and leathered Taylor for it?
slystallone
me neither i was there and gregan was with his wife Seems a little stange TBH - if true then it worries me greatly about the state of teamspirit, but that's a massive IF. Plus, as someone has already said, how come its always Chris Taylor in these stories; Ricketts etc. If they're true, then either he's a gob:censored:e or he's an easy target???? lookers87
Oh joy, another unsubstantiated 'players in fight' story soon to be quoted as gospel in many subsequent shez/gregan/eardley/taylor/hughes out subjects as it suits.
Horlicks
Maybe Leeds fans had bought tickets on the Latics coach, put on a prosthetic arse and pretended to be Greagan, then attacked Taylor when they had their chance.

monkeykieran
I was there last night and some of the players seemed to be getting smashed, I was having a chat and my photo taken with Hughsey who reeked of spirits and fags, fair do's to him he had a chat and a joke with everyone there pretty much, really was the court jester keeping everyone entertained . Gregan, Crossley also seemed boozed to me, the younger lads less so. I left early (around 10.30) and at that point Hughsey was shouting from one side of the room (about 50 metres) to the other over everyone eating at Greegs, taylor e.t.c, some of whom were shouting back, at this point it was all a joke but some people were obviously a bit shocked... It was well funny, great night, pity it probably wont happen again now haha
johnny punkster
reading more into this and there seems to be only one witness to this at the moment ,i'm wondering more if this is true for the opening posters sake... being sued for defamation of character can be an expensive joke.
