johnny punkster
seems there are reported issues with this new version of firefox on their messageboards-much the same as i'm experiencing nothing has changed since taking lots of advise here. a new firefox update is due out today,so hopefully this problem will be sorted. johnny punkster
right.. firefox update downloaded...check avg removed -new security in place-check same problem in place. firefox and owtb is not working(i'm on IE to post this)..of all the 40+bookmarks i have, this site is the only one that won't work-pages left hanging or just fail to start to load. update..just downloaded google chrome..no problems at all. its definitely a firefox problem. should i be ready to dump it ? Guest sheridans_world
I upgraded to 3.5 last week, had a few problems with out of date add-ons that I liked but otherwise everything is fine.
Zorrro
update..just downloaded google chrome..no problems at all. its definitely a firefox problem. should i be ready to dump it ? Use Opera.
johnny punkster
Use Opera. well i'm liking google chrome speed-much faster than ff was. also like the bookmark bar and simple layout -fuller screen. crap points- printing pages -no control at all over what size to print docs to shrink on 1 page etc. some pages on www haven't been made compatible with it yet. but much better. opera was the next option if google chrome wasn't up to much, but i'll keep it in mind if things go to cock. as for ff..seems there are plenty of people with similar issues..their loss. beag_teeets
Jonny, just looking through this, did you have noscript or adblock installed? I had a similar issue will facebook, the login page would load but the login button didn't work. I traced it back to me being a bit overzealous with the script blocking or adblocking so I weeded out the ones relating to facebook and hey presto it worked.
