In an ideal world Taylor would be left out to build up his fitness. Worthington had an injection under anaesthetic on Tuesday to try to arrest an ankle injury. Zorrro
Only because it's in the article. Not because you consider me to be sanctimonious. Life's bad enough as it is. Knowing Lomax is in the starting line up has tipped me over the edge.

boundaryblue80
Here's a question.... It's not a criticism of Penney as I'm all in favour of new training ideas and that but has pre-season training been too intense? We had players coming in for an extra week of intense training and then morning swims and afternoon runs. Anyone feel in hindsight we've burnt our squad out early? seasidelatic
Can you cope with much abuse from the crowd? I'd score from a corner after the ball bounces off my backside then do an Adebayor slide in front of the main stand if I got any abuse (or just break down and ask to be subbed off in the 4th minute)

How come Worthington gets an anaesthetic for an injection in his ankle but Taylor's having to have injections in his pelvis fully conscious? That doesn't seem fair... Simpo
Lomax has never, ever, let anybody down at right back. It has been at left back when he's had his bad games.
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
Didn't you hear? Lomax is much better than Eardley and one day we'll sell him for 500k. Edited September 18, 2009 by Bring Back Pukka Pies

I'm not hugely worried about Lomax at RB.

Ridiculous, if they are not 100% they should not play, are we again going to see players 'tiring' after 20 minutes and the team and fans shortchanged ? Light on bodies !....that s not exactly a confidence booster for the rest of his squad is it ?

Stalik
Agree entirely. At right back he's done as well as can be expected for a player never given the chance of a decent run in his best position. as with many other players he seems to be a target for abuse befere he's even pulled his shorts up with many of our everloving supporters. quote name='Simpo' date='Sep 18 2009, 02:44 AM' post='309853'] Lomax has never, ever, let anybody down at right back. BP1960
Can anyone tell me what's the point of bringing over 6 Hungarians if none of them are considered good enough to merit a first team place (being on the bench doesn't count as it's just filling up numbers IMO) ?
