leeslover
Excellent man management by Smith there. Assist Goram’s recovery from injury by sending him to a Spanish holiday resort. How could he have known anything bad would come of it? Still gutted I never stole the photo of my friend sandwiched between Goram and 5 Bellies in some dingy Blackpool nightclub whilst the Hun was missing from the Euro 96 training camp in the middle of a 4 week bender and the papers were trying to track him down. oafcprozac
is that story about andy goram...or andy goram II ? Still probably the best keeper we have ever had - although dad reckons it was ironically David Best!
Lags
Gorton would have given him a run for his money for sure.
oafcprozac
Gorton would have given him a run for his money for sure. i'm sure he would have done, but he played 20 odd games sadly, what I did see was superb and those that were at Goodison say it was proabably the best performance of a latics goalie ever... andy_b_100
Im with Lags I think we had a class Goalie in Goram but I think Gorton would without his 'misdemenur with matches' been World Class Edited October 28, 2009 by andy_b_100
slurms mckenzie
I reckon Goalie's book will be a lot more interesting that the drivel that consists of most footballer's books i.e. Redders and Big Joe's, which were both dreadful. I thought Joe's autobiography was a decent read. Opinions I guess.
