Well, that's a tad speculative, but Togo's team coach came under gunfire in Angola, according to SSN, no news on injuries or casualties yet though. City are trying to get in contact with Adebayor.

SSN now reporting that the driver's dead, some players are seriously injured, others hurt and they are now likely to pull out of the tournament.

thats exactly my point

its a strange world where people have to shoot at an innocent football team, just to try and get a message across

How the hell does it have anything to do with South Africa... Fecking idiot... Loads of people on Twitter (mainly idiot Americans) saying the same thing...

The world really is fully of idiots...

A wise old man called Paul Merson said on TV at dinner, if there is a shooting in Germany it doesn't mean England is unable to host a competition just because it is in Europe.

They were talking about SA being in jeopardy on Soccer Saturday at lunchtime...Jeff, Le Tiss et al suggesting it should rightfully be in jeopardy. Surprisingly it fell to that usual figure of common sense Paul Merson to point out that the whole thing was ridiculous - SA is not Angola and if someone was shot in Germany, that would not be a reason not to hold a major tournament in England.

Togo striker Jonathan Ayite has told the media the goalkeeper has died, but his club are denying it.

If he has died I reckon that will be the final straw and the other teams will refuse to play.

according to Sky news its the assistant manager and press officer (aswell as the bus driver) who have died
