If we had another couple of :censored:'s we'd be doing ok and yet Penney isn't starting even him at the moment. Thinking about it there were actually some respectable individual performances which makes me look at Penney even harder when considering the team performance as a whole. drphibes rises again Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 Positves = Big fat zero Negatives We out hoofed Tranmere at times, half the team looked like they could not care less about getting a result in what might turn out to have been a crucial game in our season. Players moved into numerous positons during the night and then to cap it all Penney's aftermatch BS just adds insult to injury. Dave if I had known you where going to use this game for a bit of a kick about then I would not have bothered doing the 60 mile round trip to come and support you. We have massive problems here and the crap about Pav and Taylor solving our goal problems is unreal, this team is packed with dull unispiring players who cannot setup our forward line on a regular basis. Adding Goodwin might make us stronger when it comes to defending but for god's sake man we want to see some action at the other end of the pitch. Whole load of poor injury prone lower division players signed. Tactically unaware, no plan B ever seems to exist. Massively over cautious. Crowds dwindling weekly. Entertainment value down as low as it can go. We are in the relegation zone, with no immediate signs of improving that situation. Failure to do something long term about our striker problems. ( Against a crap Tranmere forward line) None of my comments are based on last nights game alone, but more generally the situation at the club since Penney's arrival. In that respect I think we have been quite solid defensively overall, but it is a trade off and we offer nothing going forward while we are defending in numbers. Gregan - Attitude, performance - 'Bob on!' The Average age of the side is down :censored:, Pawel Abbott No 'i'm too good to be playing at this level' loanees (Yet!) Haven't burnt my tongue or bottom lip on a pie or a brew yet. Negatives; The football The continuous ironic cheering of Brill even when he does nowt wrong Dean Smalleys seeming 'lack of progress' at the club - (taking into account age, injuries etc...)
