OldhamSheridan
Dale Jennings of Tranmere. 17 years old. English. What. A. Player.
oafc-latics
if he's as good as the pundits say he is, he'll be in the premiership soon
JoeP
if he's as good as the pundits say he is, he'll be in the premiership soon Undoubtedly. Would have thought an England call-up will follow soon after that. Seems to be open house at the moment, anyway.....
opinions4u
Was quite impressed with the lad who scored for Sunderland today (on loan from City). Guess where he went to school.
oafcprozac
if he's as good as the pundits say he is, he'll be in the premiership soon I think the reason he's still at the Bin Dippers and not been taken on elsewhere is his size. The Premiership clubs are obsessed with 6' + powehouses. I agree though Jennings looks a real prospect.

opinions4u
Hulme Grammar wasn't it? Apparently so. Under our noses!
Yard Dog
Nedum was at Latics youth for a while, wasn't he?
opinions4u
Nedum was at Latics youth for a while, wasn't he? No idea ... but if there's a 20% sell on fee for him we can speculate for decades about it!
slystallone
Apparently so. Under our noses! Not massively under our noses – City had him tracked from under 9’s! And he signed for them at 11! We wouldn’t have been able to compete. He was actually a far better athlete than a footballer when he was at school; even though he was by far & way the best in his year at football – he was that good on the track. He still hold the Independent school youth records for long jump & triple jump; and won cross country titles too. I was his form prefect when he was in first year! Taught him all he knows!! Oh, Andrew Driver who plays for Hearts; made the England U-21’s squad for the last Euro competition, but has now decided he’d like to play for Scotland is from Oldham & went to Hulme too.......the story goes that a mate of his Dad sorted out the Hearts trial, they liked what they saw and he was signed dam near on the spot. Missed that one!!
Blue_Guru
Hulme Grammar wasn't it? Used to play against him at hulme when I was at crompton house. Also ran against him in athletics. Saying he Is quick is a massive understatement!! He finished 2 seconds ahead of the rest! The lad was a beast at 14 years old. My mate still talks about the hat trick he got against hulme to this day when nedum was marking him!
Ackey
He's a dude too! Listen to him talk, he's more intelligent than about 90% of the Premier League combined. But humble and down to earth.
jimsleftfoot
Apparently so. Under our noses! And considering there Youth Team guru Jim Cassell used to be our chief scout many years ago, would probably mean that they are well connected in Oldham
rudemedic
He's a dude too! Listen to him talk, he's more intelligent than about 90% of the Premier League combined. But humble and down to earth. I did hear that he was doing a Law degree P/T at one of the Manchester Unis.
