Marveling at how crap the away end at Exeter really is 2. Loving the Home end at Exeter - The Blackthorn Big Bank Terrace no less 3. Going to Wycombe away - lunch in the George & Dragon in West Wycombe and then walking over the hill and down to the ground 4. Never a problem to park in the streets near to BP for a quick getaway 5. The all day breakfast in the cafe in Kings Park next to Bournemouths neat and tidy 12,000 capacity stadium
Dave_Og
There might well be 4 pubs surrounding brentford but as two of them are diabolical pits (and I generally like diabolical pits) that can't even sell ale despite being within walking distance of Fullers brewery I';m not sure they'd feature. Mmmm. John Smiths....
stargazer
I agree Division 1 or Division 3 that it is really is a miserable place to spend 15 years. We were hardly rolling in money when we spent 17 years in Division 2 (The Championship) , now they were good days.

Chorlton_Latic
1.) A good amount of local games (this year at least) 2.) The variety & contrasts in days out - from The Valley to Brisbane Rd, Hillsborough to St James' Park, any ground to BP 3.) Getting to participate in the JPT. Ahem.... 4.) Post match beer at the pub in Charlton village, complete with a crude printed off sign on the tv in bold font saying "2 drink minimum or p*ss off to a pub where they want you to watch football for free" & listening to the grumbles of the locals after we get our annual point. 5.) It's not league 2 (bandwagon roars past....)

Good choice, may I also recommend the Devonshire Cat on the Devonshire Green they have that many beers they give you a menu. The pubs around the ground don't normally let away fans in. Sounds like I worded this thread wrong, I wanted things you get watching League 1 Football that you would't normally get watching Premirship Football (aside from the obvious) Edited January 24, 2012 by Tommy_Fent
