Lags Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) PD has come out and said on our official site, and in the advertiser, chron and MEN that he has made no approach for Lee Hughes, and that he didn't know where the rumours had come from. Corney on his player video blog said there was no truth to the rumour at all. I dont know how much more categorical they need to be? And I've not said who is telling the truth either. Like as if Latics and Notts County don't tell porkies! And for the record I think Corney in his video blog said, Lee Hughes won't be signing for Latics, that's some way short of saying there is no truth in the rumour we approached Notts County.. PD says 'HE' made no approach, that could be entirely correct and still the Notts County statement could be true. There again Corney's and PD statements could well be true and Notts County's the complete opposite. Like I said, if you care to read it I've no idea who is telling the truth and nor do you!
