razza699
Only 2 weeks into the season and we already have a few injuries This is worrying to happen so soon . Are they not training properly etc or is it just bad luck ?
oafcprozac
Look at Portsmouth's squad, look at ours. Where's the justice? We cut our cloth accordingly, they albeit on short-term deals are bringing in masses of players. The moment their situation is resolved those they've signed will get long term deals. :censored:ing crazy!
footy68
PD was only recently saying we had no injuries from pre season, and this was no accident. what has happened now then?
palmer1
PD was only recently saying we had no injuries from pre season, and this was no accident. what has happened now then? competitive games........ Wes hamstring Tarky and Slew missing training because of knocks on Tuesday, would be surprised if they miss Saturday anyone else missing? not heard if not then its not a massive problem at the moment, i agree if it gets worse then we are fooked - Dickov, Furman and other have already eluded to this
razza699
I am just saying its worrying because last season we had so many injuries from tears and pulls it was frightening

mikeleylandoafc
Add David Mellor to the list too. The Portsmouth situation is ridiculous and feels totally unjust given their complete instability.
jsslatic
They've been relegated and will have ten points knocked off once the takeover is complete. At what point can they stop being punished? Comparitively big club with big supporter base. Of course they will be able to attract good talent once the takeover is done (or in the pipeline as it is). oafcprozac
The only takeover that's in the pipeline is by the supporters, the funds in place are there for the securing of the ground. Not sure where the money will be coming from to sign a new squad as apparently the ST money has gone too….
BP1960
Injuries are part and parcel at any club, it's the ones to key players with no like for like replacements which seem to cause the most problems. Hence the old square pegs fitted into rounds holes solution. Edited August 23, 2012 by BP1960

Disgraceful way to run a football club and they're allowed to get away with time and time again by the footballing authorities. The football league should appoint their own administrator that is in situ for a couple of years. Either that or dump them to the bottom of the pyramid.
