SholverBlue
Surely I can't be the only one who thinks Goal Music should be outlawed and the Boys in Blue is awful? Saturn 5 always makes me think of watching Latics. Going Down - Roses Ring a ding ding ding, we're going downnnnnnn!
bossrocks
The Rising ! Haha, well done. I couldn't think of any Springsteen related songs. Maybe My City of Ruins for the current state of BP? Or I'm Goin' Down. Or Glory Days. Come to think of it, there are plenty!
ThaiLatic
Step On by Happy Mondays always reminds me of the League Cup final against Nottingham Forest. London Calling by The Clash reminds me of a Friday night game against Birmingham City in December 1979. I bought the lp at a record shop just outside Piccadilly Station on my way to the match. Saturn 5 always makes me think of watching Latics. Ring a ding ding ding, we're going downnnnnnn! depends which generation you come from I think. I've heard a lot of people critcise it as a new thing, but I've been watching Latics for almost 20 years and I can always remember goal music being played Boys in Blue for me is like our cheesy "club song" a bit like what some other clubs have i.e Everton "Grand old Team", Leeds "Marching on Together", along with every Aussie Rules team having one

Tommy_Fent
I thought Mouldy Old Dough was our cheesy "club song". is "Mouldy Old Dough" a song? I'd class it more as an instrumental piece
Diego_Sideburns
is "Mouldy Old Dough" a song? I'd class it more as an instrumental piece An instrumental has no lyrics - MOD has few lyrics, but they're easily-remembered and suitable for those with a deeper voice, and despite the fact that it got to No.1 in the charts, selling 790,000 copies, it is still classed as cheesy.
