ritchie82
Didnt really stay and celebrate at full time. Seemed a bit down, think that was his parting gift.
keep_the_faith
..but is he a red or a blue?.. Either way this tie must tempt him to stay
jbrown23
thought the same, it'll surprise me more if he stays than if he doesn't
stargazer
Disagree , think he will be here for the rest of the season , he won't want to miss this cup game for the world with his roots.
Lags
Said he would stay but still wasn't sure what was gonna happen on the LW interview filmed yesterday. But spotted him slopping off myself whilst the rest celebrated. Muted at best really.
deyres42
Think he's just that sort of bloke, pretty introverted.
Roger Ritchie
Think he will go with the best deal for him. One in the North West, with the most money, longest contract or best prospects. One box ticked.
HarryBosch
Red, isn't he? Recall him saying do before he left twitter
b0ndl1ne
Was in a bookies in Manchester last night when SC nipped in to use the toilet. Congratulated him and had a brief chat. He said the world and his wife are after Baxter. He said Baxter came here for not a lot of money to put himself in the shop window. Said he very much doubted he would be staying and his only hope was we get a 4th round tie that makes him stay longer. Oh and we were paying 2k (just under 20%) towards Derbyshire's wages, and that Derbyshire watched the game with him and was cheering Latics on yesterday. opinions4u
Was in a bookies in Manchester last night when SC nipped in to use the toilet I'm struggling so hard to believe this that I'm going to assume it's true!
b0ndl1ne
I'm struggling so hard to believe this that I'm going to assume it's true! Haha good assumption, he was meeting some people for dinner. It was on King Street so presumably San Rocco for a nice Italian.

Roger Ritchie
He was collecting his winnings. He knew Pamela Anderson couldn't out dance Cheggers.
stargazer
At least this will not be dragged out long. By the time we play Coventry a week on Saturday we will have the answer. He has been a superstar for us , but where was his career going before the manager spotted him and signed him ? Good luck to him for the future if he goes ,doesn't look to me like he is stopping. bossrocks
Couldn't really blame him if he leaves for a bigger club though I'd be pretty gutted if he went to another L1 side or wasn't playing every week. But, hopefully he'll be tempted by the 4th round to stay till the end of the season. If he leaves now, or in May, he'll go with my blessing. Just a shame we can't keep hold of him - he's the kind of player to build a team around. I've no idea how these things work, but would he be able to sign an extension with us until immediately after the Liverpool game (or play on non-contract terms), and then move to another club before the window shuts? jsslatic
I'd imagine he could do whatever the hell he wants provided his registration remains with us.
c.hill12
Thoght his parents were 'quoted' as saying he is staying for the season?
