Basically get to Euston, tube to Waterloo train to Brentford (about 40min) its a 5-10min walk from the station once at Brentford pub on each corner of the ground and there is terracing behind the goal. There moving to a new staduim in the next couple of years which will proberly kill what is at the moment my favourate away trip in this league.

There is a tube station near by cannot remember the name of it but you walk past a dual carriageway.

so it's manchester Piccadilly to Euston and then two tubes? do you pay for the tubes in advance or?

Manchester to Euston-Waterloo(tube) Waterloo to Brentford or go to South Ealing on a tube that takes longer. Click on the link on the orginal post says the prices if you dont mind being flexible and going into Central London afterwards i suggest the superoffpeak return ticket which includes all your travel in London.

will have a look into that then, been wanting to go brentford for a while but the travel time/cost has always drove me away from going - think I'll be making the trip this year!

if you get the victoria line to vauxhall... is there a train from vauxhall to brentford station then?

and might have a look at that bitecard too!

You change from tube to overground at Vauxhall. Same train that you'd have got at Waterloo.

Dead easy. Cuts a corner off the journey

The advantage of changing at Waterloo is that if you are unfortunate enough to have a long wait for the train to Brentford, Waterloo is a much better station to wait at than Vauxhall; ie. it has a pub. This is compounded by the fact that some trains to Brentford from Vauxhall take much longer than others and so you can be better off getting a later train.

we go down on Friday night, staying over in watford then onto Brentford Saturday morning and a night out in London on the Saturday night.

only been Brentford once, dickov's first season when we won 3-1, one of the best away days ive had in the last few years.

If you get a 6.55 train there and a 19.00 or later train back its only £25 if you book now
