Weir given the bullet

Recommended Posts

I thought Weir would do okay for them. Really surprised how it's turned out.

He hasn't been given much time, but when Coventry started on minus ten points and overtake a club who were one of the strong favourites for promotion contenders then something's definitely gone wrong.

A sheff United reporter on the guardian podcast was saying that it always fails for them when they try to change the ethos of the club.

For some reason at Sheff United kick and rush brings relative success. When they try to pass it, it doesn't.

Martin Allen or Aidy Boothroyd would suit.

:censored:, Nigel Clough going to Sheffield United. He's actually good...

Is he? Genuine question...

I don't know the in's and outs of his managerial career but, while he did well at Burton, I was always surprised he was allowed to keep his job whilst achieving only mediocrity year after year at Derby.
