NewBlue
Either I'm inattentive or this was the first appearance of goal music at BP this season. Please, can we not. I don't need manufactured celebration thanks.

I don't need manufactured celebration thanks. i didn't realise until i watched the goals back on sky sports news, no thanks no goal music for me - anyone remember wigan/Norwich in the PL with goal music... very amateurish
NewBlue
What was the song? Song 2 - Blur I think. Although I tried to block it out of my ears. To be fair it's a pretty good song. Just it sounds cheesy and :censored: at a football match. Also, who is it actually supposed to convey the celebration of? The Main Stand? Tommy_Fent
They've played it all season as far as I know. I'm not bothered about goal music, I'm just happy that we've scored

Stainrod
I hate goal music. I also hate the big loud music build up..........followed immediately by a flat atmosphere when we kick off.
Lee Sinnott
I used to like it when we played James Brown. Didn't we also used to play music when the opposition scored? Rugrats I think...

Oafc88
Didn't we also used to play music when the opposition scored? Rugrats I think... If I remember rightly I think Rugrats was played when the opposition team came back on the field after half time. We used to get Thin Lizzy - The boys are back in town when we came back out. bpmarko
What is the current music being played as the teams come out, with the trumpets at the start. I know it isn't Fanfare for the Common Man', but just can't remember what it is. Edited October 28, 2013 by bpmarko
rosa
I genuinely didn't notice the goal music. I still haven't forgiven Johnson for stopping them from playing This Is How It Feels before kick-off because he wanted them to play more upbeat stuff though. BoundaryBulldog
Only small clubs play music after a goal.
bpmarko
It is Fanfare for the Common Man. Isn't it?? No, it's the one with the trumpets at the start and sort of pumped up up beaty middle. They do play Fanfare for the Common Man too, but I mean the tune played immediately before the teams come out.

NewBlue
I'm bumping this thread because we still play it, it's still :censored: and I still hate it. It's for clubs like Wigan. I don't want to be like Wigan.
