David Wardle
The Michael Clegg that played for us started at Man Utd. He'd be in his very late 30's now.
Break The Silence
No it isn't, but the lad on the left of the picture, Adam Green, is my window cleaner!!!

simplythemostimportantkick
Apart from that ? Surely he could have still played in Scotland
Fyldelatic
Remember all the fallout from Moore saga and administration, he must have had enough and entered fitness coaching, which his dad Mick was involved in at Man U, at the invitation of Roy Keene, then manager of Sunderland. The only crime our Michael Clegg was guilty of was making everyone believe he was a footballer. He didn't fool many, though.
simplythemostimportantkick
He must have fooled Alex ferguson at some point, he's played in the eufa champions league don't ya know
leeslover
If he'd come to us from Carlisle or somewhere we wouldn't remember him as being that crap, just another poorish fullback. He was quite crap though.
Frankly Mr Shankly
From his website: "Oldham qualified for the Division two playoffs, but at that time the club then went into Administration and Mike helped a heavily shaped squad from relegation in his final season." One for the trade descriptions act there.
slystallone
Was he that bad? We've had far worse! Under Shez & Eyresy caretakership, IIRC he put in more than a couple of MoM worthy displays. He was a victim IIRC of Talborts' cull of players and was paid off from his remaining contract with us. From a mate of a mate, he used that money (£60K apparently) to set up a Gym. Then qualified in S&C coaching; and Roy Keane took him to Sunderland, where he remains.

She said he was a bit of a bighead coz he was on Man Utd books.
