BP1960
Although I've not seen him myself I've had good reports on this young man in non league (same club as the one Matt Smith was signed from); Can anyone confirm he's worth a look by the Latics? http://www.solihullmoorsfc.co.uk/component/content/article/1-solihull-player-profiles/547-omar-bogle
Dave_Og
I was interested to see the latest graduate, Kyle Vassell, from Stortford's striker academy bagged twice for Peterborough at the weekend. Moved last December but barley got a loook in. Now taht Assombolonga has moved on looks like he'll get his chance. Didn't think he was a patch on what had gone before: Steve Morisson Greg Pearson Jack Midson Dwight Gayle

BP1960
Bogle scores 1:45 min into this video; Bogle scores 9 mins into this video on a pitch I've not seen the like of since the 1970s. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7vABxSjKiI,
Dave_Og
Whats the total value of the five now Dave ? Would like to see Gayle get a proper chance with a style of play that suits his game. This year's prodigy is a big lumberer called Suarez. I'd like to be proved wrong but I don't see him in the Premiership any time soon. BP1960
And how about this burly 6' 2" goal poacher ? Edited August 20, 2014 by BP1960
shefflatic
sign him up! good turn of pace for a big guy, good close control and is aggressive in his play it seems, goes looking for the ball rather than waiting for it in the box. Similar to Chris Porter (when he had his best years for us) but quicker

BP1960
Looking at Brett Williams he's not afraid to go in where it hurts, and his penalties are excellent. Lee Gregory a similar type of player is now appearing in the Championship and I see no reason why Williams can't either.
Crusoe
Williams was on Reading's books until about a year ago, so he has had an opportunity to force his way into a Championship team. Maybe he'll prove them wrong to release him with a couple of goalscoring seasons under his belt.
Blue_Guru
And how about this burly 6' 2" goal poacher ? Definitely the type of player we have been missing since Porter/Beckett/Hughes days...i still think we need to actually have the ball in and around the oppositions box more to make a poacher like him so effective See what an e-mail to Murray and Wright yields BP1960! BP1960
I may send the link on as suggested..Brett Williams certainly looks the type to do well in this division..I suspect a substantial fee would be required, but if we get some Micah Richards money it could be worth a plunge as he definately adds something we haven't got at the club.
