Would that have brought you flocking  back or would you still have abandoned the club ?

The club abandoned me long before I abandoned it - but to answer you question no it wouldn't of done.  But with someone like Scholes running the place - and the attraction that would of had for players - I think it would of been a different outcome and just what a club like us would of needed.

To be fair we’d be just as pissed off if he didn’t.

Not really, his subs and team selection have been shocking and that today was shocking against a team already relegated they was bar far the better team, and to walk over to us was a piss take!! Sorry that’s just the way I feel for a sorry last dozen games of the season

The club isn't just OAFC the business - its all of us as a body.  The vile abuse I have got for the last 10+ years because I started speaking out about the board and the in action of the trust has been horrible.  Thats what I mean.  Its part of the reason I stopped throwing bad money after good.  There was too many people singing TTA praises - then corneys - and now sadly the club has no land, no money and where fucked.

I hope this new guys has the resources to turn it around.  I really do!

Has to go.  Started really well, played some great stuff.  Lost a few games, didnt know what to do, players lost form and he continued to play them (Davies is a prime suspect).  Doyle came back and scored 1 goal (i think), drew loads of games and played rubbish football with no shape and no direction.  Injuries have not helped but the subs today everyone could see were pure rubbish... Davies, Benyu????

We have had a few results but since Plymouth away we have been more or less pathetic.

His average league points per game would have seen us easily safe with a full season.  Purely on a statistical basis.

he improved the league position since he took over.

thats me out of positives.  I'm done.

Talked a good game and his interviews were decent. However, the initial successes of his team as an attractive passing outfit were always likely to fall by the wayside when the pitches (especially ours) turned to shit. Why this is never part of a managers' plan, I don't know.

Also, we should never appoint a mate of the car dealer again (not that we will be doing, surely). Whinging gobshites.

It’s all pretty moot. I think he’ll be gone after this.

I’m not sure how I feel. Initially I wanted the stability of not changing managers and giving him another season. But the run of games we’ve had in April and May and not being able to record more than 1 win is nearly unforgivable.

In truth, I’m not really arsed at the moment. That season doesn’t deserve analysing or stewing over. I’m taking a break from caring.

The World Cup is at least a worthy distraction whilst the shambles going on at the club sorts itself out for the new season.

Spot on, exactly where I am.

It's a really good point although BB80 will be livid!

Sadly, despite all the great deflection from Wellens' press conferences (and I have loved that about injuries etc.), how anyone can trust a word that he says (including the Sun article)  is beyond me.

For a second there I thought you meant the draw against Northampton!!

Sorry. But we've got to keep our spirits up. Somehow.

Totally agree Worcester!

Lots of recriminations tonight but tomorrow is another day!

Not sure I will forget immediately but the future is bright especially with Edmundmunson., Hamer and a few others :)
