Believe it or not it was bournemouth away last year. Although we lost it, it was the the turning point to our season and we actually looked like a decent side All Time Greatest Player? I'm too young to properly remember the likes of Bunn or Palmer (although I was there when Frankie got 6), so it has to be someone more recent. Childhood hero was always Paul Gerrard, so going to have to say him. Biggest Rivals (in your eyes)? This season........Think there's going to be a few. Not being an Oldhamer or having any connection to Oldham before I met my wife, my first Latics match was against Forest, 22 August 1992. I was still living in the Midlands then and was up in Oldham visiting my wife (or future wife, as she was at the time). Best away match you've been to? 13 March 1999, City at Maine Road. All Time Greatest Player? John Sheridan, a class player, even if his best years had passed by the time he played for us. Biggest Rivals (in your eyes)? Any teams that attract young Oldhamers as supporters, thereby discouraging them from following Latics. City's recent poster campaign was particularly pernicious.
