There were cheers when Nuttall was subbed off the other week.... It appears his performances have picked up a little towards the end of his loan spell ... Playing for a permanent deal? Let's hope so!

When we first signed him he was living in Manchester. Not sure if that's changed but he is banned from driving so it would have been a bit of an odd move.

Release the lot and ask each one to pick a contracted player to take with them. Simples...

Maybe allowing a manager two and a half years in the job might have something to do with it.

Think Darren Royle should be given a bit of slack (although he certainly shouldn't be bulletproof). Folk forget that if he didn't go knocking on Franks door, we'd have gone bump.

That post in itself should tell you how much of a poisoned chalice the Oldham Managers job is... He's been here about 30 games and your telling me that he's the most boo'd manager? For a part of that we were top of the form table! Some absolute entitled weapons support this club and it's putting me off more than the performances on the pitch!

Get rid. Not because I think it's the right decision, but because most of the fan base have made their minds up already, and we all know that once an Oldham crowd turn, there's no going back. It'll be toxic if we don't win the first home game next season 15-0 playing football like man city.

You'll never please some folk though, even when we are winning. The football won't be in the exact style they want to see, or the starting line up will include the players they wouldn't pick, or Micky Mellons underpants won't be the right colour... I know that happens at every club, but I reckon we'd be near the top of the pound for pound rankings

He was all over the news when United poached him from Tottenham as one of the best up and coming youth coaches. Then Mourinho gave him the assistant managers job and he was kept on by both Solskjaer and Ragnick. There were even calls for him to succeed as their manager in some quarters he was that highly thought of.

I reckon it'd be harder to find one that hadn't heard of him.
