  1. That would be nice if true, especially if it's for the weekend.
  2. On this occasion I whole heartedly agree, not to strengthen this week is just plain weird.
  3. Atmosphere will be dependent on how the game pans out, Fulham with 100% commitment and it could be special, a performance that is reminiscent of Carlisle or Macclesfield and it could turn ugly. Fingers crossed they turn up.
  4. Correct, there are some serial failures out there that a proportion of our fan base would probably be happy to see appointed....
  5. Yes but without Surridge on the pitch I don't think we had a shot, that's before you take away Lyden' contribution.
  6. Still seems a goer then. One theory I've had is that if it's still on they may announce it Wednesday or Thursday next week to maximise coverage and revenue from the home game with Morecambe, run some sort of promotion and get the place rocking. Then I woke up.....
  7. Anyone else think that having Blitz rocking up again, pally with AL and lapping it up on the pitch at Craven Cottage as all a bit weird, fair enough if he'd had enough and walked away, I just don't get how he's swanned back onto the scene without a care in the world years after leaving the tea boy holding the baby. It could be quite simple to explain away but I find it strange all the same.
  8. Only by the postman - enough said. He has been to a couple of recent home games though.
  9. That's because Skybet are a business and they've already made plenty of dough on this market. The 10's about Wild just before they took the market down looks a little bit better now.
  10. The fact we are discussing what 'Wild wants' is a piss take in itself.
  11. Oh I remember those days, getting absolute pelters for calling out Corney on a regular basis and having to defend myself for not going to see him when he called me out. What I will say about Corney though is he recognised when the team need strengthening either it be the manager on the playing side or a combination of both, strangely if he was still here and not bankrupted us I think we'd still be a League 1 club and I've spoke to friends who've worked for him and have a very high opinion of the bloke, personally felt he was way out of his depth and it was the right time for him to move on. This new bloke has already contributed to a relegation and is overseeing an absolute pantomime of a club at the minute, sacks the whole coaching team just before the window, installs his brother as Sporting Director and fucks off out of sight no doubt until the window reopens, patience amongst the fan base will start to wear extremely thin if he continues to fuck about without any semblance of a plan and he's getting to the stage where the honeymoon period will be well and truly over, let's hope he can sort his shit out before it's too late.
  12. Trains will be packed, I'd also be surprised if South Yorkshires finest allow our fans to take in a pub crawl, I suspect we will be herded into two or three pubs and then escorted to the ground.
  13. Stop beefin it'll be reight a tell thee, just tall them yav bin faffin about anth tinternets bin darn.
  14. They've not reached the 5th round for 50 years so I suspect they will field their strongest teams given its a very winnable tie for them, Marquis always causes us problems whoever he's played for.
  15. Polar opposite to my little beauty in the Main Stand little being the operative word.
  16. And who would be surprised if Scholes has sought assurances only to be let down by AL? Like I said yesterday fucking off to Dubai leaving hardly a semblance of a coaching/managerial team in place and replacing our best players with ones who at the very least are going to need time is a joke, he's embarrassing the club and the situation is becoming a farce, it should of been dealt with and put to bed a week ago either way but no we just can't operate in a normal professional fashion can we. Meanwhile anyone who questions the chancer and the way he operates is out on their ear, pisses me right off.
  17. That would be a huge downgrade on Edmondson. Granted I've only seen him once this season but he struggled against a forward whose hardly prolific in the National League North.
  18. Without too much research Thierry Henry is the highest paid pundit on £4 million a year, Carragher is on £1 million, don't think the 30k an appearance on BT for the likes of Scholes and Keane is stretching it.
