Is Shelton a RB option if Freeman is not available???

I was listening on BBC and what a game it has been. Why do these fans behave like dicks-could have got the game abandoned. Still a great result with 4 goals away from home

Listened to his interviews. How refreshing. He will certainly have expectations with the team and will not put up with lack of effort.

Difficult to see Parkinson coming in for two reasons: -He is doing well at Altrincham and could take them up giving him a lot more on his CV. If he came here he would have to get the know the players and work on the passing game, not guaranteeing promotion -If it is Parkinson he would be in a very difficult position on Saturday managing his current team and then trying to beat his future team. Club will not announce new manager until after the game on Saturday

I agree with the last two posts. In games you can see Norwood needs more support to let him unleash his skill. Nuttall is not the man to do this. Fondop got more on the ball in the second half on Saturday and always can be seen to be looking for the ball and harassing defenders. He needs to be used ore as an impact sub.

Two very frustrating home games. In the end lucky not to loose both as both of these teams passed the ball far better than us. Very disappointing. The players need to take responsibility for their poor performances. Hobson was possibly the only one who had a good game. Its going to be a long Winter!!!

Tickets already on sale for Alty fans. Season ticket holders today and open sale tomorrow. Their web site says each club will manager their own ticket sales. Nothing on Oldham's site about tickets. Game will be all ticket

Some reports are saying that the run of Tue/Sat games has caused a dip in form. All the other teams are in the same boat. A club of our size has far more resources to support the squad than most of the other clubs in this Division. Some even have part time players

Very disappointing second half. Maidenhead could easily have won on their second half performance. Our passing game is still very poor. I thought Sutton played well in the first half. It was interesting to see Norwood dropping back on two occasions to talk with Hogan and Hudson-probably to tell them where he wants the ball to be played. The subs made no impact and as a few have said Fondop would have been a much better support for Norwood if he had been on the bench. Felt Nuttall offered nothing. Still, we are in a much better place than a few weeks ago.

I agree we need to use a regular striker pairing and Norwood and Reid look like the best option. I still feel Fondop should be kept as an impact sub

Great to see the two games this week with the DU shackles off. It will be interesting to see how the team are going to do in the two away games coming up. Hopefully more of the same positive forward play. Thompson has got more out the players in two games than DU has done for a long time. In hindsight the Bromley defeat gave the DU the push in the end. If we had had a result from that game we would still likely have him in charge. Onwards and upwards and support all players picked for e team.

Shrek is right. Norwood would have started last night if not suspended. We have to start with our best and Norwood has proven quality. He has been probably very frustrated under DU tactics. Now he will surely have more chances and be supplied more.

I feel Norwood should start as he is a proven striker. Still not convinced by Nuttall even though he did have a good game last night I feel he still needs to put more effort in. He seems to back off challenges in the air

Maybe DU should row the Atlantic instead of Frank

Needs to bring on Gardner, Willoughby and Norwood and take off Fondop, Nuttall and Shelton to have some chance in second half.

I like Fondop but as a sub. Hope we do not end up with 10 on the field again. I agree with comments earlier abut midfield as well.

Interesting points by all whether an in or out DU opinion or needs a bit more time. The football has been very poor and then on Saturday when there was attacking intent defence was poor especially at the end. As many have said on other areas of the forum why did DU not tighten up when leading with a short time to go. I still feel he is not the man for the job and now talking about bringing more payers to an already large squad.

a definite No from me. Far too negative against teams we should be taking the game to and win ratio also poor. I respect other opinions but at time I wonder how DU plans games. For example, a point made on another part of this forum. A few weeks ago DU says Gardner needs building up with about 30 minutes game time initially and then plays him for a full game when we are down to 10 men. Norwood should start every game with a plan to attack and have the option to sub him when we are leading. Far too negative overall with a squad capable of much more-this was even evident in preseason in the games I went to.

How about some innovation?? Ask Barrow to swap managers!

Not on Twitter but that is an interesting post saying 93% want DU out. Not surprising with the eternal defensive approach. I have been going to BP for 32 years and am delighted with what Frank has done for the club. However, DU has been a poor appointment as most seem to agree with. Fondop will certainly be last in the pecking order now as a striker and will be lucky to be on the bench in the future. Like him for his physicality and commitment but yesterday he let us all down. Difficult to know if he should have been subbed or not straight after his yellow in first minute-not an easy one for the management team.

Such a disappointing game. Big Dog is correct in his thoughts. I am a Fondop fan but he let everyone down yesterday. If we had 11 on the pitch for the whole game the result would have been different. It is likely DU would have replaced Fondop at half time but Mikey did not give him that chance. As soon as he got his first card we were saying here goes "he will be on a red soon" There are games in September which we should be winning so unlikely there will be any changes with DU until end of that month at least. If DU was telling supporters to F... Off perhaps the board need to look at this as this is not what any manager should be saying to fans. In my opinion he is arrogant and not up to the job.
