    I know he wasn't the original singer, but for me, Hingley's voice IS the Inspiral Carpets (along with Clint's keyboard). Just doesn't sound right with the new/old guy.

    Out of interest, can anyone who was there (and paying attention) tell me what the piece of music was which they used over the clip of the Peterborough comeback? Ta Edit: Just read that Eden Creative put together the presentation last night. Doesn't somebody from there post on here?

    Just had a quick look at their board out of sheer morbid curiosity. Frequented primarily it would seem by over opinionated knuckle-draggers with a hyper-inflated sense of self importance, otherwise known as Yorkshire men. Liked these comments though : "Not very keen on us are they? Shame." As if anybody actually likes them?! and "Good to see the Oldham fans came out in force for their last home game.....about 3,000 home fans there." Do keep up chaps!

    This. Should have been sat in the family section across the Chaddy. Not even sure they were his kids. He didn't want the kids hearing swearing, but he didn't seen to mind them seeing him brawling like a pub drunk.

    That would have been my massive trap you could hear pal! ;-) Was good in there yesterday mate, a bit like it was before the split the home fans by opening the RRE. And yeah, that ref was a right bell whiff!

    ^^^^^^^ this. I'm 39 and my brother is 35. The guys that sit in front of us are in their 50's and they were signing more or less none stop. There were a couple of lads missing from the game yesterday who are in their 40's who would have been bang up for that atmosphere. It was more like the old fats in that section yesterday. It also helps that I've got a massive trap as well! ;-) Keep it up lads!

    I don't remember the 'lifestyle choices' quotes from either of them. What I do remember is being sat talking to Joe Royle about him at a Latics dinner and he said he was the best footballer in the squad by a mile but needed to be more vocal and put himself about a bit more as he was painfully shy.

    No pal, it wasn't your new mate, though it could have been one of that group. Was certainly sat up that end somewhere.

    Don't worry Dan. According to one empty head on the way out, who was saying the fans who booed at the end are disgusting and "should f*ck off and watch Utd or City if they don't like it" , Gary Harkins is "f*cking :censored:, and he hates him" (all of this in front of my 9 and 5 y.o. kids).

    Mom Lockwood? Did well enough in open play but he is a penalty waiting to happen EVERY time we have to defend a set piece. He's always got his arms round the attacker. I thought at one point in the second half he was actually going to wrestle their lad to the ground.

    I said something similar to my brother last night as we lined up on the edge if their box waiting for Harkins to pass a free kick straight to their keeper again. We are a team of midgets.
