My YES vote was for a "presence" not a shop, ie tickets/vouchers in local JDs. And maybe a stall in Spindles and other local shopping centres for a couple of days a week.

Sainsburys is a bit ambitious, next season maybe. I think we're more of a Morrisons at the moment. Good analogy though.

As Markoasis said, all local JD should be selling matchday tickets/vouchers. Mind you I'm not sure about them selling shirts, as has been said, that just takes a nice fat profit away from the Latics shop. On 2nd thoughts however, making access to tickets/vouchers easier is a priority and seeing as profit would be made by Latics from JD selling tickets/vouchers and increasing our fanbase, Latics could allow JD to sell and make the profit on the shirts in exchange for them selling tickets. BTW Corney has said on LW that 2 keen replacements have taken over from Gorrill who would welcomed any marketing suggestions. Doesn't help that Gorrill's email address is still on the Latics site's contact list page though, the Clubs Officials page is more helpful though, think I'll try Commercial Executive: Richard Taylor.

Just got time to watch this, well there's nowt on telly, only MOTD. Good idea, putting the LW commentary on the video. The camera work and video quality were up to TV standard, which TV station was showing the game? Noticed the Leeds players wandering around for a couple of mins before the KO, indulging in a mutual love in, maybe they do it distract the opposition into loosing concentration. I used to have this problem as well but for the last few months all videos have run smoothly and all have sound etc. so no problems apart from the wake up the neighbours intro music.

This is a crazy poll, the club can only do what it said when the RRE season tickets were sold - the large section for Leeds etc and move Latics to the small section.

An opinion was requested and when one is given he gets belittled! My brother was in the Chaddy as usual, he also said that the Millwall fans were easily louder than the Latics. Maybe the acoustic in the large section of the RRE are as bad as those in the Chaddy, we'll find out when Leeds arrive. I reckon a competition is called for, we need 2 players for EVERY position on and off the pitch.
