  1. Unbelievable stuff. First rule for anything like this is, check, check and check again.
  2. I would NEVER want my kids to hear the stuff I heard at the match on Friday or feel intimidated, and thankfully I had the foresight. It is a sad thing when you can't take kids to such an important game to see such talented players for the fear. I don't think family areas are much better.
  3. I was slightly lower in 122, row 14. I used to love standing so I have no problem if this was done safely in a designated area, the trouble with standing when other are seated is the obvious view, kids don't get a chance.
  4. To the OP - I've resisted making similar grumbles on here as I didn't want to overshadow what was a great day. I think I may have been sat very close to you. When these guys started having a go at my uncle who is a ST holder and has been going for 57 years for asking them to sit down I almost lost it. We missed the first 10 minutes or so as we had to pear between them. There was nothing we could do, it totally ruined a great night for him and us. One of the guys did apologise buy it was too late at that point. Their comeback was 'I'd like to see you at an away match", which totally baffled me. I'd like to blame it all on the occasion and the booze but I'm not sure that made too much difference. At most away games you have a choice of where to sit, we were just unlucky that we weren't able to move on this occasion.
  5. Haha, same here. 40 minutes and counting until I jump on a cramped train to met with odds looks and questions of, "Is that a Rangers shirt, a'ken?". Not been so excited since Monday at Chesterfield ;)
  6. I think it is easily the job of 2 full-time people to keep this kind of site looking fresh, appealing and interesting. 1 experienced developer to build the site etc and 1 designer to create the assets and online content etc. You'd also need a copywriter too possibly in a freelance capacity. Not an easy job at all, especially if you are expected be providing top quality and ever changing content.
  7. It's the same pictures just a different video compression (I think).
  8. Don't forget, they batter everything in Scotland so I think he was just staying in character. We should have won but I wouldn't say we battered them at all.
  9. I believe there may be a few other little items too, match badges etc. I'm sure this will be confirmed soon.
  10. Very sad news, my thoughts go out to you and all the family.
  11. Pathetic. You have to be pretty desperate to want to punch a 6 foot furry owl in the face. Hope he's fine for Saturday, as he's one of the reasons my 4 year old want to go to the Carlisle game.
  12. Sounded like a great game and a good result. It will be good to hear the reaction of the fans who went. We heard you loud and clear... good turn out. Can't wait for Saturday now.
  13. Received mine yesterday Lags, thanks. Get on board everyone, every penny will make a difference.
  14. Totally agree, twitter is an additional form of communication, not a replacement. I don't think the club are embracing this enough.
  15. Happy to help here. PM me if you want me to have a stab at it.
  16. Dinnae blame me either. I think there are a few latics fans up here... obviously lost.
  17. "Gottle of Gear". Best double act since Bob Carolgees and Spit the dog.
