It's the nosebleed effect for me. Weirdly, if we were 10th I'd be more confident. I put it down to being nowhere near promotion for so long now I just presume as soon as play off hopes get raised a defeat quickly follows! You seem to be judging him as if he's 29. He's a young lad who has shown a decent amount of improvement. Plenty more improvement possible rather than being written off as useless.

We're in the mix but need quality additions to get to the play offs. And we'll probably need to sell to do that. If we don't then great but we'd need luck with injuries to get to the play offs with the squad as it is.

Selling Tarky was seen as the end of the world by some. The squad is in a better place now though. Necessary evil unfortunately while we're a potless club on crowds of 3400.

He is a goal scorer. But one that struggles with injuries so we can't rely on him being there for the rest of the season. Maybe I should have worded it slightly differently and said another goal scorer, or another striker to share the load. Because after Forte, Jones is on 4, then big George on 3. And I'm pretty sure Rochdale have 2 players in the top scorers charts!

If Kelly goes it's a disaster. If its Wilson for a fee and we can use the money/wages on a goal scorer then that's great business. We have 3 possible replacements for him and the loan market.

Is that really how he has lost the trust of the masses? By not reporting every minute detail he's party to back to the fans? I think that's doing a lot of people a great disservice. Personally speaking I've backed him for a long while (in thought rather than action) but now there seems to be no connection to the fans at all. The quote in the bbc article from October was that fans would be consulted should any move like this be being considered. How has this happened? As he's chairman of the trust for me that meant a meeting of trust members at the very least. The people he's supposed to be representing. I'm sure the role would be very demanding and any candidate would have to have a thick skin - you can't please all the people, all of the time. But voting Barry out as chairman of the trust isn't about getting a direct replacement, it's about a complete rethink of the role and what it is supposed to be there for in my opinion.

When his time as representative of the fans eventually comes to an end what will his legacy be? Dwindling fan base that feels more disconnected with the club and trust than ever and the championing of the signing of 2 convicted serious criminals. What a shambles. And what an abuse of power.

Utter bollocks. He's doing it because he's gambling he'll be able to sell him on for a profit. And for that he's willing to let a lot of long time fans and their children walk away.

How does it? At the very least they should have sent Barry off to the trust for a meeting to be called and the matter to be discussed. What is the point of the trust being on the board if there isn't at least some consultation or communication with the fans on something as serious as this?

Maybe I'm hoping that when the review is over he'll come out and show a bit of contrition and plead for all the hounding of the victim to stop.
