    Thought Davies looked sharp and had potential to cause threat, great to see him back in an oldham shirt. Would've liked to have seen him come on at half time or at least had half an hour. The service to our front men is not good at the moment, which is why i prefer to have Davies on the pitch as he creates his own chances a lot of the time because of his pace.

    i thought lee looked like a full back playing too far up the pitch, against crewe. Would like to see him at right back, overlapping liddel or smalley.

    The lad has had some cracking games when forced to step in as replacement for Neal, but since he has had a run in the side his passing has been awful. I counted 3 passes to feet all game against brighton!

    He looked very good last night, would love to have a player like that alongside Hughes. Without wanting to go on about it too much, those songs are an absolute disgrace and the lads doing it need some sense slapping into them. Makes the ‘’Lee Hughes is a murderer’’ stuff seem very tame. And, excuse me if I’m a bit soft, but what exactly did Ricketts do wrong at BP? I know he hardly set things alight for us, but I don’t remember him disrespecting the fans at any point.

    Yes, in a way. More than my own personal thoughts about why he has just scored for Stockport when we can't field a striker on a subs bench.

    Sorry but isn’t this what message boards are for?! I’ve not been on here this week until now and similarly have not heard anything from the club to justify the seemingly insane decision to send this guy out on loan when we have so few strikers available. Be nice to get some sort of explanation, rumour or otherwise, to help quantify it.

    With a 24 hour recall option this seems like a decent idea if the lad is annoyed at not playing, he deserves to be playing 1st team football with his goals last year. If there is no recall option, this is utter lunacy. Matty Wolfenden on the bench in his place, oh joy

    As soon as we went 2,0 up that guy should’ve been on the pitch. Not knocking Allot or Whittaker as they have proved all they need to this season… but maher is a possession player, keeps hold of the ball. If we are winning, this lad needs to be on the pitch. I think it will be a great waste if he leaves before a proper run in the team, even if its just 20 mins of every game that we are leading in.

    without a doubt, if there's a few of you get to manchester piccadilly and get a cab to the ground. For the sake of a few quid each, it avoids a whole load of public transport bother. You'll end up paying almost as much each on the bus or train

    Seems to be a bit of a change in the way the police are dealing with it now… let it go off for a couple of minutes, film them and then ban them. One thing someone needs to do is tarmac the car park outside the RRE. All the rocks being thrown were far more dangerous than punches thrown by 17 year old lads.

    Only 400 sold so far. From the OS news piece I was assuming that loads had already shifted – ‘avoid disappointment’ etc I’m sure most people will be paying on the gate anyway, probably at a din-dippingly tasty £24 or thereabouts.

    i was thinking exactly the same about team selection and formation. Taylor and Lidds supporting Hughes, with a packed midfield and maher keeping the ball for us a bit more than we did against Rochdale. An early goal and we're in this game.

    Decided against getting the train as noone is bloody going. So does anyone know of any pubs before you get to Leeds (off the M62 preferably) worth bobbing in for a few beers before the game?
