  1. I'm not denying he's been good in the past. I'm making the point that currently he's an unknown entity, our squad is full of unknowns, do we really need another one? I suppose if he's cheap enough its worth the gamble
  2. Why has nobody offered Baxter a contract for the last 2 years is what you've got to ask yourself. Nobody else thinks hes worth the risk so why should we, he isn't Adrian Mutu.
  3. Nothing could trump signing someone who hasn't played football for 2 years?
  4. Signing someone with a dubious past and who hasn't played football for two years is a good signing? Seems like more of a gamble to me
  5. Whats the Brass Bank cut of any Rob Hunt deal? all or nothing
  6. Those were my thoughts exactly, by the time it hit the majority of them would have been sold and we'd have been sitting pretty. Maybe that was wishful thinking though. That meeting was surreal, I was wondering why they were spending the time moaning rather than making a decision based on the factual documentation provided by professionals. Then you realise why the town is in the state its in.
  7. More than £4m profit from just the land the ground sits on? I'm no property expert but it might be a stretch We were initially refused planning permission for the flats around the ground previously because at the meeting the councillors joined in with the nimbys complaining about traffic. They all had a good moan and completely ignored the traffic assessment that was done. Same again please if its happens
  8. I don't want to see us move from Boundary Park but part of me wants him make a decision to move just to stick it to the 3 thieves, there you go boys, enjoy your new £4m stand that nobody will want to buy
  9. Looking at the midfield just makes me wish Zaha had committed to England Some strange choices made there but we're used to having a rookie manager who's out of his depth making mistakes
  10. Get the kettle boiled and pour hot water on it
  11. I used to go to every game but now I'll pick and choose my games depending on how we are playing, who/where we are playing and who else is going. I got the bug again this season when we were treated to some excellent games of football when Wellens took over but that soon reverted back to type of enduring matches rather than enjoying them and simply put there are plenty of other things to do with a Saturday, I have plenty of other hobbies and I'll choose to do whatever takes my fancy. It would be watching latics more often if we got to watch a decent game of football. Take the Blackburn game at home for instance, even without us getting the goal at the end it was an enthralling game and probably the best I've seen at Boundary Park, two teams going at each other and you couldn't take your eye off it for a second, that's what I want to see
  12. The players we have aren't *that* bad but we have never really been a team and we need a few choice additions. Wagner said at Huddersfield the best thing they have is the togetherness in the squad. We need players in the squad that will pull us together, run through brick walls for each other. It appears like the dressing room is fractured with players not speaking the same language whether that being literally or just not getting on. The club needs to make an effort to harmonise the dressing room and bring in players with the right characteristics to help do that. Anyone having a hissy fit should be put in their place straight away.
  13. Because this season you had to buy one without knowing which division of football you'd be watching is one? Driving back Saturday I was glad I didn't bother but now the dust has settled I'd be tempted They need to extend the offer, or create a better one to apologise for the shit we've had to endure since Christmas. They keep saying they want fans through the gate and a good atmosphere, time to do something about it rather than just talking about it
  14. Cared deeply enough to feed that shyte to the "press" the day before our most important game in years? Wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire
  15. And if the flare throwers had kept them in there pockets, there wouldnt have been 5 minuets injury time for cobblers 2nd. All if buts n maybes
  16. Blame blame blame everyone looking for someone to blame, last 8 games Wellens decisions Lemsagam tinkering Corney for all off it,brassbank for some of it the twats that threw the flares to give the cobblers 5mins extra time the ref for giving a soft pen. think we all know this has been coming, I think there is a shit storm coming, but I suppose at the end of the day as bad as most of us feel we’ll be back next season?
