  1. On first glance, leeds are still over rated to hell, smalley and jones are seriously underrated, rest seems about right
  2. Our defence kept a clean sheet with 10 men and dean windass in net vs the best team in the league but you still want to moan. How about next time you keep your opinion to yourself because it isn't worth much and i imagine not many people want to hear it. Best result we could get because it instils some much needed confidence into the defence.
  3. Wanting £20m for him was pretty much dream world. Anything is a bonus, I'd jump at £1.4m considering citys current situation of relegation where they will have to let richards go for cheap!
  4. His was forced to track back a lot because all stockports attacks came from the wings. If taylor hadnt tracked back so much then we would have conceeded more. The worst player on the pitch? What a load of bollocks, until his goal stockport were still in the game, his goal killed stockport off. He didn't play as well as we know he can, but not playing well and making the 3pts safe for us..... he can do that every week.
  5. All points aside i think this is a load of bollocks. Hughes has not set the world on fire this season in terms of goals. We have seen him week in week out and we know he has been very unlucky, other teams, especially ones outside this division are unlikely to know this. Is any team likely to take a gamble on Hughes based on his record in the Championship before he went to prison? Also adding in the bad publicity the move will get their club? Anything less than around the 400k mark isn't likely to tempt us into selling before the end of the season either so for any club in the championship it is a MASSIVE gamble to take compared to other options out there. Myself personally would take it as a bit of an insult from Hughes if he wanted to move before the end of the season. After giving him his chance to revive his career for him to simply bugger off half way through our promotion push season would piss me off a little and I wouldn't have fond memories of him if he chose to leave in that way. Still, its a load of bollocks.
  6. Selling any of our key players is selling short our chances of promotion. If the club does this then they are showing a complete lack of any ambition. This season is our best chance of promotion for many years and if the club want to start selling players in January then that to me states that they are happy in this division.
  7. Ricketts was nothing great and you wouldn't want him at Latics? Who are you kidding? Attitudes aside Ricketts up front with Hughes, both playing how they did last night would be a great partnership. Ricketts was a constant threat, even when Walsall faded out of the game there was always a chance of Ricketts doing something. Whereas Byfield did precisely f**k all last night, there is no other way to describe it he gave the ball away at every opportunity and didn't win a header all night. Why he was left on for so long I will never know. It was a breath of fresh air when O'Grady came on. I don't want him back nor am I Ricketts number 1 fan but it sad to see people talk absolute bollocks about a player because they hold a grudge against him for whatever reason.
  8. Why because he had nothing to do for that 40? Lomax was absolutely shocking tonight.
  9. The abuse he got and still gets is ridiculous and completely undeserved. As soon as some of our fans decide a player is lazy there is no going back and they get abuse no matter what. Ricketts didn't set the world on fire but he was very unselfish and he was a good target man. Davies was getting the same comments this season. He hasn't looked like he cant be bothered this season but as he wasn't scoring the moaning prats were on his back. I'm sure these people go to football to vent their anger..... Abusing your own players simply because you had a bad week? Talk about cutting off your nose to spit your face. If you were on the pitch getting abuse from you own supposed fans, how would you feel? Think about it, its f&%$ing ridiculous. The same muppets that gave him abuse while he was an Oldham player, probabaly making him play worse will be the same muppets giving him abuse to spur him on to score against us on Tuesday. Well done in advance you dickheads.
  10. Its a disgrace the amount Leeds, Leicester and McDons have paid considering the money they throw around. How do McDons get away with paying nothing?
  11. The money offered would drop why? you are making a bad assumption there, there is no reason the for the money offered for him to go down, if anything it will go up if he keep performing like he does. I'm sure Taylor himself will want to see if we can get promoted this season before deciding anything especially if we are still were we are now in January. It's never the best option for a player to move in January being expected to instantly blend with a new team and start performing straight away. We all expected there to be interest but the sunday people? i wouldn't even wipe my arse with it let alone read it.
  12. What a crap view to have on things. A lot of teams battling at the top of the table at the moment, we need to be winning ever game so we can keep with the pack and not be one of the teams that drops off.
  13. Great win. Put all the negative crap behind us now and move on and up the league! Plus Hughes is scoring again!
  14. A crap draw is a crap draw, a crap team who play crap football in the same league as us never has and never will attract fans. All those saying the magic has gone must be on happy nostalgic rose tinted specs pills. CHELTENHAM ?! really...... its no wonder they all like rugby if thats the alternative.
  15. He ain't from Bury! Hes from Ramsbottom :p!
  16. Yep Have you read 606 on transfer deadline day? Its so full of crap from 1000's of idiots posting absolute garbage. I won't believe anything off there until Kaka, Messi and the pope sign for us.
  17. I actually looked at that picture didn't recognise her and closed it before xD
  18. We sign players so that there is good competition for places. Lee, Stephens, Maher and Flemming, none of whom have been given a chance, thus there is no competition for places. The only competition for places in our squad have been between Lomax + Jones and Liddell + Smalley apart from strikers and forced changes. Then we wonder why players get complacent and play crap.
  19. Did i miss something? She has some kind of connection to Latics how?
  20. Yeh i know what you are getting at, both are good players, neither deserving of any abuse especially at their age. If Eardley was consistent he wouldn't be with us for long at all, i'm sure everyone realises that.
  21. If shez goes it should be decided soon so that we can still push for promotion this season. I really can't believe we are 7th based on our performances, we have been poor for the majority of this season bar some well timed good performances at home and against top 10 sides that keep everyone thinking we are world beaters. Which we are when we decide to turn up. We need a manager. Shez doesn't look like one to me. All the stupid brainless mistakes he made last season were all forgiven. That isn't going to happen this season. I don't think he has lost it, he never had it. That word consistency Shez keeps talking about is the one thing he is never going to be able to get.
  22. We sign a highly rated young promising keeper and haven't seen him play..... sound familiar? Yeh half our squad. As for Lomax, he wont get the amount of abuse Eardley gets because he had a one off bad game when the whole team was playing badly which is rare for him. Eardley consistently has crap games. Eardley may be the better player when he is on form but id take consistency.
  23. Stop talking like this is a recent thing, bar a couple of results we have been piss poor for a long time
