The Furman bashers really do wind me up! The amount of stick he gets is incredible. I was sat in the main stand against Mk Dons and when he came on all I heard were people slagging him off, when he cleared the ball when we were under pressure some guy shouted ':censored:in'ell Furman stop losing the ball' He's a good player and a valuable one at that, if we let him go then that is seriously bad running of a football club.

To be fair they didn't need a good surface because when attacking they played the ball in the air 9 times out of 10.

For some reason he seems to be playing deeper and deeper, whether thats down to him or Dickov i dont know but hes an attacker FFS.

It wasnt meant as a negative post haha. Im not normally negative but cant help but be just that at the minute. Just think its a topic worth discussing and people clearly have different opinions.

Dickov seems to be untouchable no matter what.

The problem is, if - and thats a big IF we manage to beat Liverpool, Dickov will be given the job for life relegation or not!

Im not saying we are going down but there is a strong possibility especially if PD stays. But if we do, what are peoples opinions on what direction the club will go? On and off the pitch. Would we make changes to the management, change the new stand details, a new overhaul of players, change the idea of scrapping the youth, consolidate in league 2 or go the same way as Stockport? In my opinion we have been punching above our weight for 2 years now and our budget and fan base suggests this. I dont think the attendences would change much because i think we are only left with the people who will come no matter what. This is the first time i have been genuinely fearful of going down, even when we had to beat Bradford on last day i was more confident than I am at this point. Just dont think the players have the fight and mentalality to change! Opinions? Could it even benefit us?

The only thing that winds me up about this, is the fact hes pissed up his career and wasted his talent whereas players like Fabrice Muamba and the like have been forced to retire at an early age through illness, injury ect.

I agree with both. However we do look better defensively with Mchangama on the left. Against Forest id rather that than throw a kid like Hughes or Mellor on who wont be match sharp ect! I said at start of season we could do with another winger but when we didnt get 1 i presumed the kids would get more game time, clearly not.

Im not saying we shouldnt or cant give the youth a go. Just dont think they are good/fit enough to play for a whole month or even more and try to gain us vital wins. We need someone who can take the game by the scruff of the neck!
