He did really well for me, and davies is banging them in too... I sold Allott at the beginning of the season and played Whittaker and Maher instead untill i bought Jarett 30k and does just as well as Allott! Hazell is immense on that game. One thing to note as a bit of a tip, have hazell and greegs challenging the keeper for attacking corners and get your corner taker to stick them in the 6 yard box between the two they will score 15-20 goals in a season... Think im the leagues leaders in goals from corners and the highest scoring team in the league only thing is i leak way too many goals :-(

I had to buy a new laptop to play this bloody game, because the graphics card in my old cpu is cack... it needs at least 128mb to run otherwise it crashes every two minutes, or just dosent run... If you have the min spec it runs perfectly and the 09 version is a corker... Started with Oldham as per usuall. Got S. Logan on loan from city (immense), and fred sears from west ham on loan (quality banged in 22 goals in 29 apps) and bought jarett in the jan (average 7.20) Craig Davies fires 20+in first season, taylor is ok, hughes dosent score too many but gets the assists, lids is good and reuben hazell is immense... Started off quality... including coming back from 3-0 down against hull in the carling cup and beating them 4-3.... was looking at a playoff place but didnt win any of my last 7-8 games so fell just short. Was looking forward to my next season but like an idiot sold, taylor, eards, allott and hughes thinking the board would give me more money but no!! So now i have no squad nor any money.... Think i need to start again :-)

Having been away for 3 weeks, just been looking back through the old news to catch up on everything latics and seen that people who bought the original fluo yellow top have until today to change it... does this mean im screwed with my Fluo yellow top sporting Hillstones Development?? Why have they put a time limit on this?? Iv not tried contacting the club to see if i can still change it but if i cant me wont be too happy!!

Dont think anyone is on his back, but at the moment he is more or less useless, unfit and cant pair him with Hughes as they are too similar in game.... I still cant find any reason why shez would send Davies out on loan and i think thats what everyones issue is not ormerod....

I dont usually agree with your posts but i think your spot on.... I just cannot see any logic in it what so ever.... We are looking very vunerable at the moment especially in an area that at the begining of the season was looking so strong...

I was sat/stood up in the right end of the ground and personally i thought the stewarding by both sets of stewards was a disgrace! First of all every two mins the same old "sit down its an all seater" was ringing around i wouldnt mind but everyone said we want to stand... even the guy behind me who looked like he could barely stand was telling the stewards to stop trying to cause reactions.... Anyway as the trouble kicked off after our goal i turned to the steward and said shouldn't you be trying to sort out the real trouble rather than nit pick at us all game. His reply was "im not arsed not my problem" Upon hearing this a few disgruntled fans started giving him a bit of grief but again they stood their watching..... What i dont understand is once the trouble had calmed in the cheadle end why did we then get more stewards surrounding us rather than helping out the stockport stewards in the cheadle end!!! They said it wasnt their job but they are OAFC stewards and their were Oldham fans in that end so as far as im concerned it is their problem!! As for the police, well with reactions like that no wonder people are getting away with all sorts these days! As for the incident itself.. if you go in the cheadle end and start goading their fans and celebrating goals expect a good kick in! I am for not for one minuite condoling this mindless violence but c'mon what more do you expect!! I know a few county fans (not by choice) who are st's in the cheadle end and tbh they were probably the ones who crashed in kicking and punching, lets just say they are your typicall scally kids who get their kicks out of watching the football factory and try to re enact it. From what i here the top tier of the cheadle end is full of this typical stereotypical thugs! You cant blame the club itself as our fans took it upon themselves to sit in an area they shouldnt have been, i heard on various discussion websites of county fans saying if you cant get a ticket and want to sit in the home ends stick to the family stand, where at best you will get a little bit of banter as long as your not abusive towards any of our fans... that advice should of been stuck too!

Absolutely disgusting... he finished first fair and square!! Yes he cut a corner and unfairly gained and extra place thats why he slowed down and let kimi through so he lost that place! Kimi crashed eventually so how is this an unfair fooking advantage... for all those who dont know he was docked 25 seconds and is now placed as third!!! GOD DAMN INJUSTICE!

I think already we are starting to realise what a job shez did last season without him and lids to pick! Especially Greegan iv always been a big fan of his and he is showing what class he is at the moment.... Just think would we be in this division if we had Greegs, Lids and Hughesy fit for the majority of last season!??

As some may or may not be aware i used to be quite a regular poster on here untill recently... Working in an industry which is essential i have internet access at work i was always able to get on owtb no probs but a few week back the access was limited to certain sites and as owtb comes under sports at work i can nay longer access this site.... does any of you techies no how i could possibly get round this!?! i know its a long shot but worth a try....

Met quite a few in my time.... Andy Barlow, Ian Marshall, Roger Palmer, Mike Milligan, Richard Jobson, Gunnar Halle, Lee Hughes, Taylor, Killer, John Hallworth, John and Darren Sherridan, poggs, Clyde, John Eyre, Frankie Bunn... to name but a few all relatively 89 onwards... The players i enjoyed meeting the most were Gunnar Halle, Lee Hughes and Roger Palmer Gunnar saw in the town square and it was my mam who initiated the conversation as she was a big fan of his.. he was with his mrs and a little un in a pram didnt mind being stopped and harrased by an over enthusiastic woman gave us autograph pictures and had all the time in the world for us and was genuine nice bloke! Roger always wondering round sale spoke to him a few time nice fella, just the fact he is a ledge why he is my fave to have met. Hughesy seen him in manchester and just had all the time in the world to talk footie seemed really pleased that someone had recognised him and greated him with positive comments his very good looking lady friend also took a picture of us on my phone! Probably the worst iv met is Ian Marshall think i may have cought him on a bad day bit of a big headed git!

Iv got a feeling that the overhanded stewarding has come from higher powers than just the stewards themselves during the millwall game and after on the website their were announcements that people must sit down blah blah blah...... All this has come from the Millwall game and with a bit of luck as the season goes on the stewards heavy handedness will die down as they see Millwall isnt a regular occurence... BUT what dosent help is when cocky a** holes like the ones i was privelledged to stand behind in the q for the rochdale tickets bragging about how they are gunna kick off after the match and do this and that to the millwall fans thankfully the same person was booted out of the ground less than 10-15 mins in, think what we all have to remember is that their are a minority of tics fans like this who need heavy handedness and spoil it for the rest of us, the club will want this nipping in the bud which they are now trying to force early on. Unfortunatley because of the new seatin arrangemen. Otherwise they will carry on spending more on policing and stewarding which is a cost the club could do without!!

I know im being a bit of a killjoy here but is no one else a little peed off that the last home kit only lasted one season... Now i know it is no fault of latics that Hillstone fell thru but surely they could of just changed the sponsors a totally new design this is getting a bit fookin silly! Im getting to the stage were i dont wanna buy any of them because they change every year..... Iv now bought the 1x home top and 2x away tops in just over a year and none of them are now worn (obviously i will get to change my fluo one but still a pain in the arse) England kits now must have a sell by date and the majority of the prem clubs do i think this should windle its way down the leagues... and latics should start taking up front payments for shirt sponsors.... Not impressed Mr Hardy!
