Would have been worried if seemed a month ago we'd be going into season with Taylor and Tarky as first choice and have seen nothing since to alleviate that concern. I think however PD will stick with current back line but will look to bring in a winger and striker.

By sounds of the beer situation from last night, and the poor line-up on Sunday, our lot are planning to stay in town a little later than would usually do for a gig. Anyone read the press reviews from last night? Absolutely cringeworthy! I'm not old enough (!) to have seen them first time round but have seen Ian Brown live a couple of times over recent years and him not being able to hold a note will have been no news, and of no detriment to the enjoyment, of absolutely any of the paying punters there last night. Had a giggle to myself though when the writer of one particular smarmy, sly review (either Indy or Guardian) referred to Second Coming signature tune 'Love Comes Around'!

Most people were arguing that PD should be given another year (despite 2 less than impressive full seasons under his belt) as he was building something here - thus needed to be afforded patience and more time - and we were all sick of the new manager/summer clearout/starting afresh routine. I was happy to go along with the above so long as we kept hold of the players with which we could build a team around such as Furman, Cisak, Lee, Morais, Taylor, Simpson etc. Out of the above two have gone (including the best of the bunch), two appear to be 50/50 and we should be ok with Furman and Cisak as they are in contract. Anybody else not fully trust PD to build pretty much a new squad from scratch?

Our budget (or apparent lack of) is also a convenient excuse. Stevenage, Carlisle, Hartlepool and Colchester are having decent campaigns and yet must have similar budgets to us - if not less in the case of Stevenage?

I don't want PD sacked. His mistake was not opting for an experienced assistant - is Brian Horton still out of work?

Quite damning for PD IMO - not just this season but most of the previous campaign also. Surely we can't have had many worse calendar years than 2011? Not got off to a good 2012 either but at least that elusive consistency seems to finally be creeping in!

I've stuck with him but today was final straw for me. Does anybody else think PD is scared of Kuqi - I was some way away admittedly, but seemed like he was apologising to him for taking him off. Anybody else would have expected a rocket up the arse after that miss and subsequent petulance.

Went for a hot dog in Chaddy at HT and told I had to wait 10 minutes as they "weren't up to temperature yet"!

I admire the positivity but the fact we haven't won three on bounce or broken into top 10 all season makes a push for the play-offs extremely unlikely IMO. In fact can't remember ever notching three consecutive league victories under Dickov and this inconsistency is probably the main reason why we don't have a hope of the play-offs.
