I've got nothing against the Playershare scheme or those that commit their hard earned towards it. Just making a point that there will always be some loyal fans that will unfortunately miss out and will understandably feel they deserve it more for some reason or another. As you say there is no doubt ST holders should have priority but, after this criterion, how do you then ascertain the next level of commitment to the club, and therefore deserving of priority; what takes precedent a pie, a programme, a pint, Playershare, Trust membership, first in queue for new away shirt etc? These games don't come about too often and I think the club have dealt with it 95% correct. Only mistakes were having exiles believe they could order over the phone and selling unlimited tickets upon commencement of open sale.

Certainly don't agree with the Playershare thing. Next it will be those who regularly have a flutter at the bookies behind the Chaddy, or always buy 2 Strike It Lucky tickets, or are members of the lottery, or get a meal deal at half time, or use the car park, or get half time pint tokens for the Main Stand bar... etc!

If we can keep this team together plus Simpson and a couple of additions in the summer then I would expect us to be up there next season. Unfortunately I can't see us keeping hold of Lee, Taylor or Furman.

Can anybody imagine there will be many taking up this voucher offer? Surely it will be only couple of hundred at an absolute maximum?

Big Gord mentioned it twice yesterday - first time described it as an "interview with SC", then as an "announcement that all Latics fans need to hear" or something along them lines. Interesting the context with which he mentioned it, both times following even more heartfelt than usual pleas for fans to get down to BP due to the club "needing your support". Instantly made me think it would be bad news but hopefully that's just me being cynical and reading too much into it!

Rubbish, Dickov has said himself there was budget to sign two strikers even with Feeney still here. Sick of hearing this 'has to have the right attitude' thing, this is League 1, no player has got it all. If a player has ability then that should be enough, a good manager will do just that, manage the players attitude. Said before Saturday, no strength in depth, little experience and no threat. I like Dickov but he needs to get some faces in.

Please explain what you have seen for you to think he isn't crap. He was shocking yesterday, poor in pre season, and much the same last season. In fact, he was that bad we released him.

Add to that, little quality.

So you think the team doesn't pick itself then, and we do have strong competition for places? This is PDs own criticism regarding last season.
