  1. Gomper up top misses another sitter as well. Alot of the time I feel for him, because all we do is hoof it to him and he's not clever enough when defenders draw the foul out of him, but that miss is poor, and there have been a few. Would have been better starting the season in the reserves building some confidence and banging a few in rather than being our 3rd choice striker, well 2nd choice until Kuqi arrived.
  2. How many did they take then? Out of interest, how many did they bring to us? I was away!
  3. Man Utd supporters group in New York would have created that, so it's probs the Utd fans saying, we share your grief,
  4. Do not fear my Yorkshire friend, On FM10, I won the league with Town, even if I did vomit over the screen that I had taken over a Yaaarkshire club. Anyway in our first season in the Championship, we finished 4th and played L'*ds in the Play-off final, drawing 1-1 losing 6-5 on pens, Peter Clarke missing the last pen...gutted, still it was a good achievement for the lads.
  5. I agree with Catergorisation, its the fact that Bury are £14-00, we're £18-00, Hudds £28-50 which is the joke, which is what you've said in Bold. That was my point, charge them £18-00 (which is still catergorised) and they'd have a massive floowing there rather than £28-50 where they'll have a much lower turn out. I don't think Sheff Utd would have brought the same amount if a) it was £28-50. b)it weren't the first (local) game of the season.
  6. One of the funniest moments in my life...and i mean my life, was reading a thread when Blue Pizza and Mendi (Royle Army???) were having a 'conversation' with each other about Jon Macken signing. When the realisation hit that Blue Pizza and Mendi were the same person talking to each other, I didn't stop laughing for about 18 minutes. Please someone find that transcript. Although it probably won't be as funny as I remember it being.
  7. Just think if they charged Huddersfield that, they'd have a potential 3-4000 following on their hands, surely it makes more sense to drop prices and have more fans??
  8. At least they'll bring more to our gaff no way would i pay £28-50 to watch us in yorkshire, vomits uncontrollably.
  9. Mate, just tried the upper for the first time this season, im 6.1 and i can't sit in the seat, i had to sit sideways on, av got upper seats booked for stevanage and brentford but defo getting em changed to the paddock. your right about the view though, it is good unless your stuck behind a pillar like i was sat haha
  10. we seem to dislike alot of clubs, wigwam, burnley, city, hudds, dogdale etc do any of them actually give a t05s about us?
  11. Home "Derby's" are sh1te since we got our three sided sh1t pit. I always remember being in the Lokkers paddock when local teams such as Burnley, Kn0b End, Hudds, City etc (all last 13years or so) came to BP and the atmosphere would be great. Now, as Bunty said, the fans can't engage with each other, they can't hear the Chaddy, and they'll sing we got more fans that you (when they'll have 2,500-3,000 less) and dale, dale dale on repeat. Away game are much better for getting the derby atmosphere, Rochdale away (Spesh the Tues night game) was one of the best build up atmosphere's i'd experienced for years, such a pity it got called off as the sat game was a bit more flatter. Just think how much more excited you are heading over t'hills to Hudds rather than heading down to BP for the home fixture, Just a thought!!
  12. From the limited knowledge iv got of Italian football, I think they really struggle for fans, sure i've seen attendances as low as 9,000 for some games, i bet they only average 20 odd thousand. Could be wrong though. Just had a a quick look Serie A 2009/2010 .:. Attendance .:. Home matches # Team sum Matches average 1 Inter 1.067.698 19 56.195 2 SSC Napoli 867.295 19 45.647 3 AC Milan 816.073 19 42.951 4 AS Roma 781.138 19 41.113 5 Lazio Roma 693.785 19 36.515 6 ACF Fiorentina 521.196 19 27.431 7 AS Bari 482.463 19 25.393 8 Genoa CFC 481.646 19 25.350 9 Sampdoria 479.550 19 25.239 10 US Palermo 475.614 19 25.032 11 Juventus 440.560 19 23.187 12 Bologna FC 382.747 19 20.145 13 Parma FC 338.003 19 17.790 14 Udinese Calcio 323.258 19 17.014 15 Calcio Catania 297.704 19 15.669 16 Atalanta Bergamo 266.390 19 14.021 17 Cagliari Calcio 258.250 19 13.592 18 Chievo Verona 226.938 19 11.944 19 AC Siena 210.006 19 11.053 20 AS Livorno 197.020 19 10.369 and for 10/11 - 22.958
  13. Like Razza keeps saying, think we may see Parker on the right tomorrow, pace to burn.
  14. It says on the chron website headlines, 'ON LOAN PARKER SCORES 2' so maybe they know something we don't, has he got a club whom he could be loaned from, or is he unattached?
