    A centre mid of Fane/Banks/Green is relegation fodder. Games in this league are often won and lost in the middle. Trust Shez will have seen this pretty quickly today and act on it this week. Expecting to see Welsh in but I just hope hes not another Green.

    Our keeper looked awfully flappy on a couple crosses and didn't command his box very well. As for Banks, I don't know what managers see in him. He's one of the softest players ive ever seen. Could forgive that if he was a great passer but he tries too many hollywood balls when a simple pass to feet would suffice.

    Agree with BP on McLaughlin. Didn't watch last night but saw enough glimpses of quality last season to see he's got plenty of talent. Think we will see his emergence this season and be fending off bids in Jan.

    That's how I see it. Reality is, we aren't going to get in an experienced head but at this stage I'd roll the dice and even bring in another rookie.

    He's rubbish, simple. I just can't work out out what he offers, apart from the very occasional long range shot. What makes it worse is that he's lazy and half hearted. :censored:s out of too many challenges. Shouldn't be near the team IMO.
