  1. Drop us a DM Harry and I'll get it sorted with my mate to meet you.
  2. Something like that. I'm still going in the car though...
  3. Due to a Saturday evening commitment I've got an open return to Morecambe available for Saturday. Face value £18.50. Anyone want to help me out and take it off me for £15? Collection from Piccadilly Saturday morning/afternoon.
  4. Real shame there were only 2000 there to see it. Should have been done Saturday.
  5. Let's hope Surridge can stay fit as we're going nowhere but towards the bottom of O'Grady has anything to do with our season. Absolutely woeful. Would genuinely struggle two or three tiers below.
  6. Was told he's been paid off so doubt he will be challenging it.
  7. Satisfied with this one. Only reservation I have is that it's another CM and quite surprised to see a 2 year deal.
  8. Thought he was Ronaldo on that free kick and put it about 20 yards over the bar.
  9. O'Grady was awful. Didn't run, Didn't even jump for headers he waw favourite for. If that's him playing for a contract imagine him half way through the season.
  10. It was always going to be Gerrard or Clarke last season and never both. Wellens chose Gerrard so made sense to move Clarke off the wage bill. Glad it's looking the other way round this season. He's a superb captain and plays for the team rather than his own ego. Agree he looks in superb shape this pre season. Hopefully he's still got another good year left at this level.
  11. Has FB judged him on doing laps as they'll have barely played any actual football in 3 days of pre season.
  12. Clearly either been told to come off twitter or is attention seeking as he is still on there and probably revelling in the replies.
  13. Used to be a big fan of his but I hope we fuck him off and he can't find a club higher than us. Clear he has no respect for us. Thinks he's way better than he is.
  14. They're not due to be paid until Friday, I believe so let's hope it hits their banks at midnight.
  15. Genuinely shocked that there isn't more bemusement at AL publicly slagging off the previous regime and then taking advice of a key component of that regime for his first managerial appointment/big decision.
  16. Here's where I am at with it. This is one of the biggest appointments in recent years due to our relegation, the fact we are in complete disarray with all the goings on over the last few weeks and the fact we are getting deeper into the summer with a squad to potentially rebuild for a season in the division below. We needed a manager to grab us by the scruff of the neck and lead the club in the absence of any organisational leadership. We want someone with intense knowledge of the lower leagues and the players that can get out straight out of this league (the right way). Someone who can completely run the football side of things when things are going wrong on the other side. Ideally someone with current contacts in the right places. AL then brings an already unpopular Barry in (back from the dead after finally getting rid of him) to advise on an appointment to get the fans back on side. And we end up with someone who seems to have had the opposite effect. I'm not writing him off yet and will have my full support but I'm completely uninspired.
  17. Cheers Barry. Underwhelming verging on worrying decision.
  18. Agree. It took a post from one of Lee Sinnotts sources to actually reveal Barry is back in the fold and without that I assume the trust would have witheld that info from us. To then spin it off as a positive to fans is laughable. Hes the most disliked club official I can remember (bar the obvious) and a true Corneyist. If Corney's regime was that bad as AL and the trust have stated, why bring back his right hand man?
  19. Pretty sure he wouldn't have a choice like the last two managers didn't.
  20. Trust communication seems be incredibly fluffy and never seems to answer the questions asked. Now I'm just waiting for the "well if you can do better, you're welcome to try" comment that usually follows.
  21. Under no illusions the Keegan article is largely true albeit dramatised. AL clearly has a way of running a club that doesn't bode well with most.
