  1. Charlton are not doing favours, regretably.
  2. I said, "all this nonsense," not just the training bit. I also did say, "if true." Whatever it is or not we don't need it at this time.
  3. The press don’t do serious questions these days.
  4. If all this Fane nonsense is true, then it looks as though AL is continuing the usual OAFC tradition of back room f**k up. Just what is needed at this time! Have we swapped one clown for another?
  5. Just watched video of Northampton and Rochdale matches from weekend and both look better than us. Just hope Charlton can do the business.
  6. Me too, but can't see Bury doing anything at Wimbledon and Fleetwood are doing nothing since Shez got them safe. That's a team on the beach.
  7. He seemed passionate yesterday. I think professional pride will make him do his best for us. That's how it works, that's why employers piss off employees and still the empoyees give their best - PRIDE, whatever walk of life you are in.
  8. Enjoyed the game, an overall good team performance. There was evidence of desire, even to the point of leaving Gardner writhing in agony rather that give up on the impetous of possession. I thought Hunt and Nepo did well as did the two youngsters in the middle, Johnny had nothing to do except fo two important catches, Gardner did well as the only ball winner and even Pringle looked lively. Doyle ran around a lot and put in a shift (not the best way to use him). The Duck frustrates me, it's head down and run into players, ok and dangerous in the box, but keep him out of the box and defenders can guarantee he will beat himself. Benyu looked lost, not a ball winner and very light weight, evidence of good feet though. I thought he looked better second half after the changes. Which brings me to Byrne. First 30 minutes absolutely bossed it and was probably the best player on the pitch, but Doncaster cottened on and simply surrounded him. Something needed to be done, so I can follow RW's logic. Quite brave really to sub your best player. Perhaps having him on the bench and bringing him on later in a game allows him to create an impact and leaves no time for the opposition to adapt? Just hope we can beat Northampton now.
  9. Doncaster aren’t busting a gut going forward.
  10. VPN's only assign a different IP address, but location can be found via GPS, wifi or mobile network. On a computer browser you can force your system to not allow location unless you give permission, but as has been said apps may not work unless this is allowed.
  11. I expect all of us to be saddened if we drop, but most of us, after possibly a bit of 'never going again' type reaction, will be back again. After all if we haven't given up after the last dozen or so years, we probably never will.
  12. Walsall have Bradford and Fleetwood away, hopefully they get nothing from either. So 4 points will do. Trouble for us is the win, particularly as Northampton have picked up a bit and Doncaster are no mugs. As they say all down to selection, set up and motivation. Oops!
  13. If we go down, we're not coming back up any time soon.
  14. We know what that means then, it's about to improve.
  15. Northampton On a roll, that’s 5 goals in last two games. Not so confident about last game now. Two homes must be won.
  16. What ill those plans be? Signinig s**t goalkeepers?
  17. Don't count Northampton out, they won at Bury scoring 3 goals in the process, with the old manager gone that could signal a turnaround.
  18. Agree, but not sure about 'substantial' I think many will want to see positive results first.
