Lee - everyone's entitled to their opinion. I just don't agree with yours. I was stood a few yards from you last night and a lot of the game you were effing and jeffing at the team and Dickov. I paid my money and travelled a long way like you, and was very disappointed with the performance, but some of what the team need at the moment is encouragement. I was also stood close to you at the end, bottom right hand corner, when dickov came over. what he responded to you was that they're trying to do and play the right way. I'm glad most other fans around us then said you were in a minority and shook his hand. I'm as disillusioned and frustrated as anyone else. keep the faith, it can't get much worse.

tonight was disappointing , though Brentford were not much better ; a couple of bobbles and 2 goals to me we played like a team with no confidence and no togetherness. idiot ' latics fan' at the end mouthed off to dickov. dickov said we're trying to do things the right way. all other fans supported dickov and several shook his hand. hey ho, onwards and....

Excellent idea NIKKI. I've been going for 40 + years since I started going with my gramp aged 5, and hopefully I'll never stop going. There's many times I think I will stop, especially a couple of seasons ago, but I've kept on. I started to take my daughter aged 9, and she's now 20 and more into it than me these days,hooked for life, and also brings her boyfriend along. I now have a younger son aged 5, and he's got a £50 season ticket, and he also loves it now too (I know ), at the moment he likes it more for seeing Chaddy, and having a good play, but when we were all going to the Rochdale away game, he said he wanted to go too. Amazing , but true. He even wants to have his birthday party at Latics. So I agree, catch 'em young and you've got a good chance of a fair few staying with us for a lifetime of joy. Oh, now I'm in dreamland.

How many Latics do we think will be there on Saturday? The all-ticket thing may deter a few, though you never know, depending on how sales go they may relax this nearer to the weekend.
