  1. Cheers bud Dont think i doing my best job as an ambassador for the club on your stag do when i was throwing shapes out on the dance floor in Envy in a druken state on Saturday
  2. Right, the official stance on appearances is that the club charge £72.50 if you book through them and that is for an hours appearance. Whenever people book me direct i usually get £50 and beleive me, i will stay until youve had enough of me. I dont think ive ever done less than 90 minutes at an birthday appearance and i basically run riot round the place and the kids love it. I will join in with any games they do and dancing with them, in all honesty its my favourite part of the job as i can act like an idiot for a few hours without a safety officer shouting at me If your interested then PM me and let me know the date and time of appearance and i will cancel whatever im doing that day. Oh god please let me get near Moonchester. I am very good mates with the last Moonchester, but this new one is a complete tool. I had never met him before until a TV appearance i did and all he went on about how he wanted to beat me in a run and i wasnt allow to cheat by wearing small shoes. I pointed out that ive never done a run in small shoes and i would kick his arse in a race. The ponce even had muscles built into the new suit, how vain is that? I suspect that if i turned up in Liquid or Tokyo's as Chaddy i would be groped and molested by all the girls who had had too much to drink and wearing next to nothing........What time you want me there mate?
  3. You dont know anything about radio do you mate? They have a fantastic machine that can convert owl noises into human speech
  4. You joking or not Andy? Just had a very strange call related to this thread. Ackey rang me to say some guy from Steve Lamacq's show wanted to speak to me about doing an interview as Chaddy about my music taste. Rang the guy and they are putting me live on air on BBC6 on Wednesday at 4:45pm to chat about my favourite music and first gig and what music i love at Oldham games. How very strange
  5. Well Bloody said there Gordon. I know the hard work and effort that Gordon and others puts in at the club and i get pretty annoyed when people have a go about them. I love reading the programme and think its one of the best in the league, but then again i might be biased as i contribute to it (after Gordon has taken out all my rants every other week) Just imagine someone having a go at the way you do your job when youve put lots of hard work into it, tell me you wouldnt be annoyed.
  6. Singe, If you can PM me your lads name and your address i will sort out a personlised photo and birthday card as well as a little pressie from me as well, just something to make him smile on his birthday from me.
  7. Singe, sorry to hear you had problems with getting hold of a Chaddy toy. Im a bit miffed that they dont have stock. Where abouts do you live? If your from up this neck of the woods i will be more than happy to turn up for your son on his birthday and delivery him a present from myself as way of apology. Or if he is having a birthday party i will be more than willing to turn up at the party and do an appearance for free. Let me know if any of that is any use to you. I hate to see "little un's" dissapointed. Chaddy.
  8. I got a call on dinnertime to ask me why i wasnt at the club for the BBC as arranged. Apparently someone from BBC radio was there to take penalties at me as part of a "challenge Aneka" type of game they play on the show. I explained to them that firstly nobody had made me aware of it, and secondly there is not a chance that Tony Owen would allow someone on the pitch to take penalties at me. I then explained to them that i didnt get to the ground until 2pm on matchdays so them being there at 1:15pm wasnt much help to me. Anyway, the help i need is in relation to a caller who rang into the show. Apparently they rang in to say that they knew me and were good friends with me. They said "yeah, he's a good lad even if he does support our rivals" WTF would anyone say that for? I need to knwo if anyone heard it and managed to hear the name of the caller as they are certainly no friend of mine with comments like that.
  9. I think the whole thing was highlighted by the fact that when Ballack was knocked over in a tackle the ref stopped play even though it was clear to see it was NOT a head injury. That deffinately set the tone for how the game was decided. But in all fairness, Rooney was offside for the second goal so its swings and roundabouts. Was funny sat in the Grey Mare though when Chelsea won just to see how quickly the pub emptied.
  10. Only ever been in there once after a game and thought it was a cracking little pub, pool table was pretty good as well Might have to partake in a few shandies this season after the game.
  11. It could well be John. He certainly looks like a player. Big tall guy with black hair. Bloody good footballer as well
  12. I was just going to say that after seeing your son on Saturday Tindall i would hope that he is more than capable of controlling his body functions by the time the new stadium is finished, infact if its anything like the previous staduims he might be old enough to babysit for others by the time its built
  13. You are correct, that was my point exactly. Although if the case involved damning DNA evidence then fair enough. I once had to sit on a case whilst on jury service on a case of a foreign guy from Sale who had been accused of kiddy fiddling. He had tried to commit suicide whilst on remand and from the conversations i had with other jurors when we retired to make our decision was that was the deciding factor as to why he was guilty even though the facts were there to say why he was never guilty in a million years. I seriously lost my rag with one of the women who refused to agree he was innocent as her argument at one point was thats he "looked shifty". I kid you not, that was her honest answer when asked to convince us why she was adamant he was guilty. Luckily after 5 hours locked in a room with this idiot the judge agreed that he would accept a 10 to 2 decision. Its scary to think that some people like that can be left to help make a life changing decision for SOME innocent people. As it all came out these two boys who accused him had made the same accusation to 4 other people in the past 2 years and they were only 12 years old
  14. And would it be a shock if someone was found guilty of something they DIDNT actually do? Stanger things have happened in the strange world of our justice system. At the end of the day he was a Latics fan who loved the club, on that basis it is sad news to me.
  15. Frank goes missing story You may remember this is the paper while ago about a fellow Latics fan Frank Ashton going missing last November. Today in the paper it says they have found a body of a 58 year old in Hamilton st building who went missing in November. I think we can guess who it is. Sad news if it is him. Body found in Oldham
  16. I just want it to have a changing room for me WITH A SHOWER please Mr Corney
  17. You know me, im up for ANYTHING that involves making money for charity. Just dont rape me when your all wasted and i start strutting my stuff
  18. That Parker freekick was amazing, you wont see a better one this season i dont think.
  19. At least i got on, that bus scene took 18 takes and i was at the back at the start of every one, they kept telling me to start right back there, i made sure i was at the front by the time we got on the bus. Out of 18 takes there was only one take that i didnt finish 1st and that was because i got tripped right at the start, and i still finished 2nd I was pretty impressed with my running that day. Oh, and Tracey.......£50 should cover it
  20. Top and bottom of it was when Ronnie went he didnt like the way things were heading at the club so asked if he could go elsewhere if something was sorted. Was told yes. He had already been asked by Shez to join him so it got sorted very quickly. At least he doesnt have to drive there every day on his own, there are 5 of them heading there everyday so they take it in turns a day each. Sounds happy enough with it all so good luck to him.
  21. You can forget that mate, she is being employed as my assistant for getting changed. Anyway, well done mate, glad we got someone who will do well at the job rather than some snivvling snotty nose uni graduate who has done the theory side only.....Oh wait a minute.
  22. Lets just say it didnt cost me its full value, but no, it wasnt from ebay. The only thing i really buy off ebay is star wars collectable figure.....and no there not for me, my eldest collects them. I think the most ive ever paid for a coat was probably my Henry Lloyd wool one which cost me £220 and i only bought it as the wife paid half for christmas.
  23. Ive been known to spend a bit on clothing but £220 for a cardigan is a joke. I would want some good looking woman to come free with it to put it on me and clean it when im done for that price *Im not stereotyping here by saying only women wash clothes, i just dont fancy some bloke hugging me after putting my cardigan on me. Oh, and whats up with wearing a stone island coat to football? I wear one sometimes as well as a Burberry one, i can assure you im not a chav or a hooligan. As for £600 for a coat???? WTF was it made out of? I was after a new coat on Sunday and saw a nice "Bear Grills gortex one" but wouldnt buy it as it was nearly £150.
  24. Just joined. Ive got Rooney and Santa Cruz up front
