  1. Reading things like Liddells story and yours mate really gets to me. You have my thoughts and prayers. Life can be so :censored:ty but then once in a while you meet people who amaze you with their positive outlook on everything and you just have to smile and tip your hat to them and say keep going son as you know nothing will ever get them down. You my friend are one of those people.
  2. They say the Will was never going to sign for us.....Thats not what he thought. He wanted to sign, obviously couldnt sort out an agreement on wages though so DP wasnt interested.
  3. How the hell did you find it? I thought that clitoris was one of those "urban myths".
  4. If you mate is the same one who sent the text to me then it wont be the first time the ginger git has had a smack
  5. Cheeky bleeder I am fast.....when up against most people my age. Its just that i play with younger people (in the non perverted way may i add)
  6. That lad couldnt finish a sentence. Lets not go back there please, i would rather have my 7 year old up front for us, at least i know i will get 100% commitment.
  7. I almost beleived it untill i read that bit. You have obviously never seen me play. Im not known for my tackling....and thats an understatment
  8. CLAIM !!!!! Back in 94 i was in a crash which was my mates fault. Not going to go into details of my injuries but lets just say i was in a bad way and he never came to visit me in hospital. Turns out my mate wasnt insured as his missus had cancelled it when they split up the week before. I was told i would get something in the region of 30 - 40K if i took him to court for it. I refused to do it as he was a mate. More fool me, within 2 years he had cheated my mum and dad out of £400 and i didnt see him again for a long time. If i knew then what i knew now i would have took it to court without a doubt.
  9. Bets bit of the night for me was at the end when Bolton beat us and Mike Bentley started telling Paddy McGuiness he wasnt funny. The poor guy didnt know how to take it or abuse him back. "Your just not funny mate, youve got a bolton accent and there's nowt funny about that". "I bet Peter Kay is sick to f**king death of you living off his name".
  10. I went down London last weekend, on Monday night i started feeling a bit ill. By Tuesday morning i felt like an elephant had slept on me. Rang my GP to see what he said, gave the receptionist my symptoms and she said i wasnt allowed in the surgery. The doctor rang me back, i told him what i had wrong with me and he told me to go straight home from work and get someone to collect some tamiflu tablets from canon st for me. Been told to stay in for 5 days. Never felt so rough for the past few days but im finally now over it and feeling a lot better, although ive still got the feeling in my mouth like ive eaten cotton wool. Hopefully be ale to go out tomorrow if i feel even better. Not a nice thing to have at all. I was worried about my wife and son catching it but was told "no point avoiding them, most people will catch it in the next few months anyway".
  11. I think its safe to come clean that the player i was refering to is the same one who has been discussed in this thread and is a midfielder.
  12. I did say they were "hoping" to get it sorted by that week. IF it is still happening he is obviously holding out for the terms he wants. I was with my source at weekend and he was still pretty sure it would happen, although funnier things have happened in football.
  13. I take off my hat and bow down at your feet. You are all true legends :imnotworthy:
  14. Anyone know how much it is to get in tomorrow night? For adults AND for kids?
  15. Ah right, soz matey. Although this is is second child with her and fourth child altogether, whereas Ernie was expecting his first child and never got to see her.
  16. Apart from the fact that Ernie didnt dump his wife and two kids to set up home with another woman he had been seeing for a long while. For anyone who beleives in Karma this is the point where you say "what goes around comes around". Horrible thing for anyone to go through though.....and i mean the cancer side of it not the being dumped by your husband. I do hope he manages to get through it but things deffinately dont look good.
  17. Keane was in the team for his tackling, nobody was better than him at that. Scholes was in the team for getting the ball off defenders and making the run forward to either lay it off or shoot. Giggs was in the team for running the left and either crossing it or running the right back dizzy until he didnt know if he wanted a poo or a haircut which he was amazing at. Beckham was in the team for his ability to cross a ball onto a gnat's cock from anywhere within 50 yards, and to take 95% of free kicks. Nobody was better at any of that than him. Everyone had a job to do and did it well, thats why they won so much.
  18. Go on then, i will rise to it. Who were the three better midfielders whilst he was at united? You dont need to be fast to be a good midfielder, you just need the ability to put a ball on a sixpence and know how to get it around someone who is stood in your way. Beckham was better than anyone at that.
  19. Smalley and Taylor have also been known to play as strikers. But then again we dont know what DP's thoughts are with regards who plays where. The player in question is a winger though who certainly likes to score a goal or two. I have also found a quote by DP saying that he was sad to see this player leave after having him on loan at Darlington.
  20. Couldnt possibly confirm or deny What would it matter if a player came from league 2? Didnt Ian Wright come from non league, i think its safe to say he proved his worth. If there good enough for DP then there good enough for me.
  21. Not exactly a big signing but one i personally would be happy with after the reviews i have read on him. Bearing in mind my info has not come from within our club but from within the club he currently plays for. But saying that, when i say it comes from within the club, my source is actually mates with the player and asked him direct to confirm. The player is hoping it comes off pretty soon. Edited for spelling mistakes
  22. I take it you like Austin Allegro's then KH? I prefer the Hillman Imp myself
  23. Damn, you got it first time Yes, its Paul Scholes, i saw him getting out of his very own 1972 Austin Allegro outside BP at dinner.
