    Ha ha. I guess a month of football playing 90mins each week will do him much better than not playing here. He’ll still be training with useach day but this way gives him game time!

    Would be stunned if Butt walked away from the head of Manchester United academy to become assistant manager in league 2. It was prob a case of Scholes asking his mate to come to the game with him and cast his eye over the team and give him some thoughts. Scholes will have the ear of a lot of experienced top coaches and managers he can turn to for help if he wants so why not start with a mate you trust.

    Fane is in the same situation as Duffus and the outcome will be the same. I’d expect him to be released from his contract when fit and recovered from his injury. He’ll be playing Indonesia with Marc klok his best mate next.

    His replacment signed last week and made his debut on Saturday...i’d be stunned if we see Fane in a latics shirt again.

    Apologies I thought you meant generally rather than just at matches...He is ultimately still running the youth team but with assistance from others as and when things clash. Unsure who they exactly are. Similar juggling act as TP had to do when he stepped in back in the day.

    He ‘liked’ Craig Davies tweet slagging the club off when he left. He also shares the same agent as Davies. Slag of the new owner or club and it seems there is no return for you.

    He’s back at the club and training but with the youth team not the 1st team. Prob be either paid off or shipped back out on loan i’d guess rather than let him see out his contract and keep paying him.

    Can’t see it myself at that price. In terms of the sell on clause (that Corney famously sold for peanuts of its actual eventual value) we only had a clause based on the sale of him from Brentford which was the sale to Burnley. We wouldn’t have had a sell on for every move he makes in his career.

    I think based on the previous signings the owner and sporting director and making the signings not the manager.
