    She was at a game towards the end of the season...think it was Mansfield. Since 2016 she has been at Curzon, Southport and now Chorley I believe. 3 clubs in 3 years...call me old school but i’d Be worried about employing someone who changes jobs so quick.

    Nepo won’t play for the owners I believe. Think the ‘negotiating’ line in the retained list was an attempt to soften the blow when he eventually leaves. Although football is fickle and if it’s Oldham or no club he may change his mind.

    Not true. Although he has said that if a club at a higher level comes in for him he’d like the opportunity to chat to them and look at a move. Totally understandable and something the club should honour!

    His leadership in the changing room and leading the team would have galvanised us and seen us over the line in my opinion. He isn’t a man who’d sulk in the corner and down tools like Davies did when he didn’t Get his own way. Wellens was a coward shipping him out and not having the balls to deal with a senior pro!

    Talks ongoing early this week so imagine in the next few days. Of course it makes no sense having talks and releasing players without a fixed term manager in place but that’s about right for us.

    I see Wigan have secured their championship status for next season. Is Lang ready for the championship? Be interesting if they want to send him back out on loan next season. He’s loving his football with us so you never know. Although I suspect league 1 clubs may be sniffing around!
