  1. It doesn't matter who we drew at home - any of the other 3 teams will fancy their chances against a side that have only scored 8 in 8 league games at home and won only 3 of them.
  2. Another player with ability but not the desire or heart to match Send him to the pussys sanctuary with a few others we could mention.....
  3. I'm so glad someone else has had the balls to say this - as Ferdinand seems untouchable throughout his career, yet over the last 2/3 seasons gets slower and more arrogant in his decision making -awful! What a joy to watch though hahaha
  4. How year on year failure at national level can be rewarded with top pay, constant salary rises, continued selection is beyond me. Overpaid, overrated and about as close to the 'common' fan as those dwellers in Wilmslow, Alderley Edge etc. F*** 'em! Edited for language purposes......him upstairs may be watching....
  5. A pity he's not 'ours' but Adeyemi has all the tools to go all the way....
  6. Got him at the wrong time of his career - he was bolloxed when he came here - a dear do! Not a donkey though.
  7. Sanitisation of the working class mans game has been in place for years.......
  8. What great footage 1min 20secs in and a move that would be played again and again, if in the prem on MOTD - great football, full house, no whinging, diving, crowding the ref, falling to the ground every time a tackle goes in......lovely!!!
  9. ahhhh Bollocks!!! There must be loads on here who have experienced his wifes selling for them to vote for him. Horrible, horrible runt. C'mon 1 more vote to send him to the sanctuary then close the poll - use democratic powers to it's fullest.
  10. He's never been close enough to a player ON the pitch to have ever been accused of 'assault', so i guess he's getting it whilst he can - what a big fookin donkey he is! Send him to the 'prison sanctuary' How he has made a career at top level i'll never know.
  11. You're both correct, there will always be examples of it going on still - mt point really was that it is becoming much more difficult and as in Matt Smiths case, a few brave gambles need to be took.
  12. As those of you fortunate enough to have listened to Joe Royle will know, the days of being able to pick up an almost entire team up for nowt are sadly gone. The odd individual maybe, but many of the players in the top/championship clubs' reserves teams are already on far greater salaries than we could offer - hence the popularity of the loan market today. The likes of your Denis Irwins, Andy Ritchie and the Dodger were on next to nowt at their respective clubs and we could then offer a reserve team player a competitive salary and the guarantee of first team football - something not valued it seems by many of todays modern player. But some good choices of bargain players there chaps.
  13. Thanks to Ronnie for persuading me to get into the Clayton early during many of his 'gash' team performances - I spent quite a few happy afternoons wallowing in the golden ale of John Willy Lees, thinking what a t w a ........this guy really is. My opinion certainly hasn't changed - he'll make good company for Starbuck et al.
  14. I very much doubt, considering the 'wedge' that our Finnish star is earning, (even with playershares contribution) that we are in a position to be offering a 'competitive' salary.
  15. That's very true - and Rocket Ronnie wasn't signed for his footballing ability "He's good in the dressing room", was the reasoning behind it!! I wonder if Wadsworth (allegedly) signs players on that basis.
  16. It is alleged to be true that many (well, a few.....) females (obvioulsy older no doubt than your daughter) have been seen running in the opposite direction once the man has been met.
  17. That's right....did he not do a couple of interviews suggesting joining the priesthood or something? And we gave him a similar 'holy' response back also!
  18. At which point I think the penny dropped with owd Starbucks and he gave a 'non-priest like' response iirc, down at the bottom corner of the terracing. There can't be many players whom I have disliked more - awful, awful, awful.....eeeeeaaaawwwwwwwwww
  19. He talked :censored:e from the beginning of him joining the forum......
  20. An ice cold shiver is sent down ones spine as the memories flood back....brrrrrrrrrr As for Forbes - Alreet at this level, quick across the ground, couldn't judge a ball in the air though for a 'centre half' and couldn't pass wind, never mind a football - I'd save him though.
  21. "Football's a man's game" my grandfather and father used to say - what the hell has happened to our beloved game! De-sanitised to it's core by a new breed of politically correct cleansed society - sad days.
  22. I've seen you play recently and thought you'd already been trialling them
