Got a 1 0 Sunderland all over it for me.....They might score lots against Division 3s finest at home and I know Sunderland aren't blessed with quality at the back, but O Neill tighten the turds up and go and do what they need to - Still a turd choice imo
How riveting.
Peterborough - Sunderland!!!! What's all that about
Why don't they change the schedule to "1.00pm - 6pm - A day in the life of the Fergusons!!" What a load of tosh
If you're happy - She's happy - Wembley wins
Honeymoons can come and go at any time
These kind of occasions only come about once every 22 years you know
(He says, knowing that Mrs Briefs' birthday is that weekend and has already clocked my discreet intentions!!)
I'm 100% sure PD won't be saying anything to the players that has anything to do with after 7.45pm tonight.....It's all about tonight boys!!
(tomorrow will be different however!)
Possibly the best away match I have had the pleasure in attending - A 'dodge hat trick in a 4-1 thrashing at Maine Road' - If Carlsberg did away wins........
And to think we did it with Cecere, Flynn, J.Kelly all in the side....shudder........
I can't vote if you make me feel silly.......
Anyhow Smart was probably the worst surname he could have had.
Alan Bonehead or Alan Doughnut - but Smart????
Good technically, a brick outhouse -but another whose brains was in his fist or his cock
Not a donkey though for me.....again!!
Another player who we had at the wrong time of his career ie the end.
Not a donkey, but whilst here he wasn't a goalscorer either - he was finished.
Been a decent player in the past
Steve Cherry (Plymouth goalie) punched/pushed me once in the 80s whilst ballboying, for timewasting
My mic lead fell out in a JPT/Simod/Zenith/full members cup tie, whilst trying to introduce Stoke substitute Dave Brammer and it ended up "The substitute for Stoke City is Number 8 Dave.....(at this point the lead fell out)............" With all the main stand turning aroung shouting "Dave Who??!!"
Me and Ex chron reporter Mike Yarwood being bollocked by Alan Hardy one reserve game in the 80s for having a snowball fight whilst ballboying - I was in the terraces of the Rocky end, he was up in the Lookers
Watching the dodge score a hat-trick at Maine Road in a 4-1 mauling - Funny as fook - you won't beat that one(unless you were there i guess)!!!
Just No, no, no!!
A ludicrous suggestion - a player who needs guidance and monitoring due to him having 'standard pro footballers mentality' - But a donkey?
Never in a month of sundays.
The 3 and 4g pitches that are out there today are a million miles away from the 1st artificial pitches. They play much more consistently and as someone mentioned earlier, apart frmo the millions of black balls that end up in your salford docks - they're fine.
How interesting.....As a man whom seems balanced in his views on a footballer and gives them a chance, you are right, you did doubt him and on the 10th September after his 1st game, you made this comment about Simpson...
"Simpson looked no improvement on Kirk Miller."
Time and patience hey.
I'm struggling to pick 4 from Irwin, Linighan, Warhurst, Barrett, Andy Holden (Who i just loved!) and of course Paul Futcher......Oh, Kenny Clements as well.
Irwin, Futcher, Warhurst, Barrett - Pace, strength and quality.
