  1. I live a couple of miles away and can't be arsed. Same with Mansfield which is only down the road. Feel like I've ruined too many weekends already for one season. Expect a draw or narrow defeat.
  2. What pseudonym does Philli's mum post under? Surely the only explanation for the vote!
  3. No Wonder My Wee Smells Like Sugar Puffs ??
  4. Went in the chaddy a couple of times this year which was my first time in there for nearly 10 years. One of the games, Preston I think, there were a couple of dudes walking round with a clipboard speaking to a few peeps - didn't come to us though,
  5. Last 10 years - final play off place (oldest first) 71 71 75 (damn Blackpool) 76 76 80 71 73 74 74 So we can probably safely predict it'll be somewhere between 71 and 80 - usually low to mid 70s
  6. Not sign Ched Evans and go up automatically , or via the play-offs, or stay where we are. If we sign him I'll not see any of it anyway - but at least I'll be going out on a bit of a high after yesterday. IF he wins his appeal I'd still not like to sign him - he's not that good. Then he'll not be guilty of rape but still guilty of a severe lack of moral compass IMO.
  7. It's worth checking if group-save is available on the route. That allows 3 or 4 to travel for the price of two and no need to pre-book when I've done it. East Mids do offer it but not on all routes so worth checking up front.
  8. The official feed is @official_ncfc, the spoof is @officiaI_ncfc - took me a while to see the difference but it's a capital i not an L - sneeky bleeders. They obviously feed off the responses from people who think it's the official feed....best ignored...
  9. Even more surprised to see that Shez got 3% of the vote! Wow...
  10. I think they were pretty level on number of clangers dropped (unfair on a keeper anyway where a clanger means a goal - how many from the players in front of them?). But, how many times can you watch all 20 out-field players gathering to the LHS of the half way line waiting for the only goal kick Cisak can take? That was the one real reason I preferred Bouzanis - he might have chucked in a good few erratic kicks but he varied them and picked out a latics shirt in space (not all the time, granted) rather than putting it in the mix in the same position every time.
  11. Did you not see the Sheff Utd game? I'd take Bouzy any day but it looks like we have neither. Not too bothered as long as we get some experience in.
  12. I'd take a few mis-kicks than every kick going to the left touchline at half-way to be met by a swarm of 20 players. Cisak's distribution is awful, and IMO they are about equal on shot stopping. Netiher are particularly good controlling the area. I'd take Bouzanis given the choice.
  13. Let's hope Bouzanis is back. They are probably fairly level on keeping ability (not too sure after today) but Cisak can't distribute the ball. It was back to all the players gathering in a clump for his kick outs.
  14. I don't think I've seen a bigger overreaction to a defeat. It's a game that could have gone either way but probably deserved a 0-0. We competed well but a couple of rebounds / penalty shouts went begging at one end and a couple of howlers at the other went against us. Personally I'd have probably made different subs and would probably have started with Obita. But on the whole the biggest disappointment was losing a game we didn't really deserve to, not the overall performance.
  15. I voted him MoM (not that he was brill just thought he did as well as the other choices) - think it unbalanced us both Tues and today when he went off.
  16. Guy in front of us spent most of the game spitting vitriol towards Barnard - shame he didn't score. Had similar at Forest - Furman the target there. Popped over a decent cross for one of the goals so he switched his attention to the fairly mild mannered stewards. Everyone has favoured and un-favoured players. There's probably a better way to put the critique though. I'd say his selection probably was a mistake. Not because he wasn't arsed - he was back at right back at one stage - he is just not mobile enough. I think I'd beat him in a foot-race - even Luke Beckett might give him a run for his money,
  17. Miserable gits have taken it down so I've had a go.....mine might not jump out the the abuse sniffers.. On 26 Feb 2013, Oliver refereed the FA Cup replay between the mighty Everton and the minnows of Oldham Athletic. The only way in which Oliver could have been more of a homer would to have painted himself yellow and gone on carrying a tin of Duff. He awarded a pretty fair penalty to the toffees but turned down an equally fair penalty to the, original, Latics. For Everton's third, and probably tie settling goal, he awarded a throw in to EFC where it was a clear Oldham throw. Sealing a poor night he signalled three minutes of stoppage time when there were 6 substitutions, 2 goals and 2 minutes of treatment to Tim "Brittle" Howard in the second half. Too slow - you already spotted it...also edited the date - don't know why it'll be gone soon.
  18. How about Andy Townsend Is a w4nker, is a w4nker Etc etc Not had a good word to say in previous games. Got premier league goggles on.
  19. God it must have been a long time since I posted - Brian Kilcline!!!???!!!
